Thank you, and I think its in a different tuning. The beginning I was improvising. That first Bb (first note) was where I was supposed to start. That didn't work out.

Man, being able to produce vocal music for your own game sounds like a really cool endeavour. Unfortunately I can't sing without sounding like Clint Eastwood gone mad, but it's great to know there are a couple people here with vocal skill. If ever I need some singing done, I'm coming right to you or Maus.

@khmp: Hehe, thanks!  That's funny you should mention about the marimbas, because I just went on a marimba-hiatus, haha... I ended up making about 5 songs in a row at work that used some form of xylophone or marimba and now I need a break!  I think the reason I chose them for "Faster" was because they matched the song's general feel (the song is about trying so hard to organize my life and find meaning and purpose as an adult before I run out of time... as I was writing it, I ironically imagined my kid-self giving my adult-self pointers on how to live life).

@Chimmie Ray: Aw, thank-you... and yes, I think it's definitely fun to be able to come up with character theme songs and stuff like that   I'm still trying to decide if there will be any other songs with lyrics.  And yes, Maus is excellent!

@iceplosion: Thank-you   And I agree with Lum, it would be cool to hear voices whether they're singing or speaking or growling or... hm, maybe not growling... hehe :P

@J.D. Slasha: Thank-you, I appreciate it By voice work, do you mean singing for other people's games?  If so, I'm usually eager to help out when I can find time.  I recently recorded a track for Reives.  I like the name Cella (is it pronounced "chella" or "sella"?).

@Tassadar: Hehe, thank-you!  Yes, there is some Japanese in that song.  Back in 2002 I was offered a couple record contracts in Japan, so I have a few songs in Japanese.  The one you linked was one of the first songs I ever recorded... before I had a studio or anything (you can tell the quality is low because I used a little computer mic taped to a water bottle, haha!  So ghetto!).  And I'm guessing from your name that you like Starcraft?  I love that game... I'm so dorky, I even read the books :P
