Hmm, well to me, going with Kotetsu wasn't a good play - even if it might be a snazzy title, if translated or something.
With your title, you want to be pretty creative - as creative as possible, without having a title with no reference, or little of it, to the story.
But, please, try to stay away from the typical RPG titles (Noun (the, of, ) Noun; ex: Fight of Doom, Tree of Magic) :P

Why can everyone use so many types of weapons? Try to focus it on the class they have, and give them unique weapons, unless you want to just throw "Freelancer" at them.
Why did the threesome destroy the village? What was their reason (PLOT HOLE!)

Riou, the Prince of the continent
Wait, what? The continent? I thought he was the prince of Deciet?
They later assist Riou on his missions and are sent back home later.
They are sent home at the same time "they" assisted Riou? Let's not use later twice in there, shall we? :P
Ok, this really bugs me:
Over at the entrance, why isn't there a wall? You show the ceiling, above the walls, near the top of the map, but over at the entrance/exit it looks like the ceiling is just hardwood floor, under the rug. But yes, you should definitely improve your mapping.
Last thing:
I switched to XP, I make better maps on there than VX.
Ok, maybe, because of the RTP...
Instead of inquisitor tilesets, i am using VX tilesets for XP
What?!?! How is XP maps better than VX maps if you are using VX RTP Tilesets?
