The talk of P.E. reminds me of my younger years (I sound old).
I was actually quite athletic. I loved to run the most. In gym, I would be one of the quickest runners, and several people noticed it. Outside of school, I had races with people around the neighborhood (aka Trailer Park har har har) and I easily beat them. I ran with my best friend while she was on her bike.
Another friend suggest I join the track team. I was all set, until I learned they would have physicals. Despite being before the incident, I was way too terrified to do it, so I never did join that team.
Other things I did was play football with my brothers (our version anyway), shoot hoops, use the swings, play on monkey bars, or whatever!
Now if I do ANY of this stuff, you can bet I'll have to stop every 5 minutes. I heave and I huff so heavily afterwards. It doesn't help that I have a chest. And I mean a chest.
I noted some of this on Facebook, so Ven already saw it, but when I stand or walk for various reasons, my left hip will begin to ache terribly. My back does too, but not as bad as my hip. I know it has something to do with my weight and the size my chest. When I sleep at night, especially in a different location (as someone's house), I feel like I'm getting choked.
Being fit and athletic is quite difficult, though I know I must do something. o.o
