Jason

Awesome Bro

I tried grapefruit juice today... what the fuck how can you even like this it's fowl and disgusting!

I did, however, have a cooked chicken with new potatoes, lettuce, red onion and radish, it turns out I like radishes, they're pretty chill...

But then afterwards I had a huge bar of chocolate

I really need to get out of the house D:

And stop eating sweets D:

I gained 15 pounds in a year

The thing is, I'm not a morning person, and it's summer (=it's unbelievably hot, even at 9am), and I'm too scared to go out for a walk at 6pm (it's dark! There might be scary people around!) Not a very good situation. :blank:

Also late to the party but Venn try Rooibos or Rosehip tea... they're both delightfully red and delightfully yummy.

So my uncle gave us a treadmill.

When I was a kid, I sucked, badly, at PE. Really badly.

There were two kids who would generally get into detention for not completing the required laps and whatnot. One was huge; the other was me.

Not for want of trying. I would put so much effort in that I'd be completely out of breath for the rest of the day. I wanted to be a good runner, good at football, good at anything really. I just wasn't.

I've never completed a 400m lap before, jogging/running, without walking part way.

Well, since then I've done a lot of exercise. We're talking six years or so since I've had to do PE. In that time I've done a lot more walking than I ever did back then, ten miles in a day sometimes.

So I tried the treadmill on run and tracked my progress. Ran 400m without trouble. The next day, ran 800m. The next day did a full mile.

Not trying to gloat, well I am, but I just ran a full mile for the first time in my life and am feeling pretty damned chuffed. I want to go further. Leave the treadmill, and run in the outdoors. If I can run a mile a day...

I'd like to do a marathon.      Do you think that's a silly idea?

(I'm assuming this is a general fitness thread, sorry)

Why would any goal be silly? Do that marathon!

Train hard, eat right, sleep well, and put those runners on; I want to see you posting in this thread that you've signed up for a marathon ASAP and I want to know the results when you complete it.

man that sucks you got detention for not finishing laps. i was always last to finish or unable to finish because i had horrible lung problems. i wouldn't get detention, only a TON of shaming/ridicule from the PE teacher and other students (and yes, the PE teacher knew about my medical problems ... he was just a massive dick).

nowadays, my knees are too shit for running. so i do biking.

but keep at it, wyatt. wanting to do a marathon one day is a great goal! and don't be discouraged if you can't meet a distance goal one day ... the more you practice, the better you'll do. every minute you shave off your mile is a massive hurdle; ask any runner. go for it :D

The talk of P.E. reminds me of my younger years (I sound old).

I was actually quite athletic. I loved to run the most. In gym, I would be one of the quickest runners, and several people noticed it. Outside of school, I had races with people around the neighborhood (aka Trailer Park har har har) and I easily beat them. I ran with my best friend while she was on her bike.

Another friend suggest I join the track team. I was all set, until I learned they would have physicals. Despite being before the incident, I was way too terrified to do it, so I never did join that team.

Other things I did was play football with my brothers (our version anyway), shoot hoops, use the swings, play on monkey bars, or whatever!

Now if I do ANY of this stuff, you can bet I'll have to stop every 5 minutes. I heave and I huff so heavily afterwards. It doesn't help that I have a chest. And I mean a chest.

I noted some of this on Facebook, so Ven already saw it, but when I stand or walk for various reasons, my left hip will begin to ache terribly. My back does too, but not as bad as my hip. I know it has something to do with my weight and the size my chest. When I sleep at night, especially in a different location (as someone's house), I feel like I'm getting choked.

Being fit and athletic is quite difficult, though I know I must do something. o.o

I love listening to music and jogging because I like running to the pace of the song.
Jogging also helped build my self-esteem. Everytime I would jog I would be able to beat or usually meet my last jog distance.

I learned about Jeff Seid.

He's like 14 in his before picture and now he is 18. What kind of transformation is that? All the other teen transformations are like 17-19 year olds that change in a year. They don't include puberty. IMO a before picture should represent what would look like if you did nothing. Would it be any more impressive if he posted a picture of when he was 10?

Edit: Moog, are you fit yet?

Kid tries too hard to be Zyzz and thinks that people believe him when he claims natty + he looks like shit (so much in fact he didn't even place at Olympia).

Jason

Awesome Bro

To be honest I didn't like Zyzz either... don't know why, he just had that look that screams "Hey guys I'm a dick who thinks he's a god because I have moo-sals"
