Please tell me you only did that AFTER they said it was modified. If it ever gets opened, it voidsd the warrenty and counts as a modified console.

Sorry, bud, but a price cut is going to be a long time coming. The last one was only a year ago, and the 360 is currently the lowest priced console.

XBOX 360 is the way forward imo. Had two mates that have bought an XBOX AFTER they bought their PS3 and the latter is still collecting cobwebs.

Yeah but $t3v0, I've had a few of my mates sell their 360's and buy a PS3 since they think it's tons better, and if you consider constant breakages, faulty disctrays, scratched discs, and a nice RRoD the way forward, then sure, go ahead and buy a 360, lol.

And Jbrist, just to settle the matter; I'll admit I was a bit off in choosing my words in my post a few days ago. I shouldn't have said you bashed the 360 at every possible chance. That little statement was blown up a tad too much.

I should have said that I was PO'd that people come into a thread named "Is It Worth It To Buy An Xbox 360" and the immediate statement was "lol buy a ps3." It's not exact, but I think it is a passable quote :smile: . All joking aside, I'll just say I'm sorry for starting that argument and I'm now making amends.

I would say its the Xbox 360 is easily better. Along with great games such as Fable 2, Last Remnant and Prototype comes a whole library of available arcade games. With the new update you can also purchase games to be directly downloaded to your hard drive which takes the hassle of going to get it out. I'm not sure but i'm pretty sure that one of the games avaiable to buy is Bioshock. You also have to think about the future. Mass Effect 2, as far as I know, will not be released on the PS3 or Wii. Lionhead also recently announced Fable III.

You're kidding right. Bioshock cost 50$AU with that and so does Oblivion, and I got both for 60$AU in JB-Hi-FI. Please having a disk is more resuming then dowloading it.

The Xbox needs more exclusives so many of the games are on the PC.
