Is it worth it to buy a X360

Pretty much the only reason I own a 360 is ninja gaiden 2 and tales of vesperia. For me, they alone justified the purchase. It's just a shame I had the thing sitting on it's ass apart from a couple of playthroughs on each.

Really just depends how interested you are in the titles you mentioned. If only a bit, then I really wouldn't bother as most of them have equally enjoyable PS3 counterparts.

If you own a wii, buy alien hominid for the gamecube. It's pretty much the same and with 2d newgrounds graphics I don't think you'll feel much difference. Halo was, is and always will be overhyped. It's a decent play but anyone who spends three hundred dollars on a console so they can play it as some seriously misplaced priorities.

Yeah I had my Xbox 360 for about a 2 years...and I had no problems with it..
However on the PS3 I strangely got something...
I turn my PS3 off in the back cause I'm in a hurry, and one day i turned it on and it started something..I don't remember much. but it deleted my saved data friends and messages...all from shutting off the PS3 from behind...

probably cause you shut it off while the HDD indicator was flashing. the same thing could happen from a computer, so it's not the ps3's fault.

Yeah, doesn't it say on most games, not to turn it off while the HDD indicator is flashing ?

That's your own fault, don't blame a console for your own silly mistake.

Also, Learn2Read.

Reminds me of my mother... Half the time, if she gets pissy with me being on the computer, she'll off my electricity from the trip-switch... That has REALLY shitted up my computer... As for the Xbox 360? I had mine for a year and two months, then I got an E74 error, meaning the scalor chip or GPU was screwed up. Conveniently, it was just after my guarantee ran out...
Strange thing is... My 360 recently came back from the dead :dead: But now it just flickers horribly...
Like some kinda 1940s film reel...

I had an Xbox I sold recently, it worked for a solid 3 years (maybe 4 years, can't remember, memory is bad when it comes to time.), with no errors, red circles, or need for repair.

idk why everyone bitches about the 360's life time. What the hell are they doing with it? Smacking it against the wall? Using it as a cerial bowl? The only thing I ever done with the 360 (apart from play it. :|) is move it. I only did that a few times aswell, and it always stayed inside the same room. Maybe that's why it survived so long. idk.

The 360 is a tempermental piece of equipment.
It's like a computer, only everything's on the one board...
If your graphics card screwed up on your computer, you'd replace it.
If it screwed up in the 360, start saving up.

What happened to mine, was as time went on, the main board heated up slightly, and began to twist at a very slight level... That levered the Scalor chip off of the board, causing the connection to become dodgy. Nothing I could've done would've helped. Exept keeping it in some, Super-chilled area.
