Aepriz, PS3 already has Fallout 3, lol.

And did anyone else know PS3 is getting C&C Red Alert 3 ?

Look !

It's the Ultimate Edition with an extra 15 maps, woo !
yeah and our water looks better then PC and 360 version

Yeah, people always say the PS3 looks shit on those internet comparisons, yet if you find one with Full HD and Superwhite enabled on the menus, you'll see the PS3 > 360, and in some cases > PC too, for example, CoD:WaW, looks better on my PS3 than my brothers custom built £500 ($700) computer, lol.

And when people say "Well the 360 has a 512MB GFX Card and the PS3 only had a 256MB GFX Card"

You're wrong ! The PS3 has a 256MB DDR3 GFX Card, which is equivelant to 768MB, so work out the math, it's a better graphics card, and the cell processor gives developers an even bigger advantage.

Fun fact - Did you know Killzone 2 only used 4.5 of 6 of the PS3's cores, just imagine when developers start using all 6 !

errr, no it doesn't. ps3 is actually the worst for fallout 3 on graphics.

Do you have proof there ? Cause I have it for my PS3, my brother has it for his 360 and his PC (Downloaded it for PC, the shame !), and to be honest, on the same TV, the graphics look better on the PS3 than 360, even he agrees too and he's a hardcore 360 fan.

There you go.

The first set of images is the only one with water, but you can clearly see that it is much more detailed on PC and 360 than on PS3. Personally, I think the PC looks best.

Or maybe that if you look on all those screenshots, the 360 has just been darkened, they do it with all the games, to supposedly hide the lower textures by darkening them, but I don't know, lol.

I mean, look on the pics where your stood on the rocks looking over the city an stuff, things are MUCH easier to make out on PS3 than 360 AND PC, like the tower, it actually looks like one instead of a tall blurry.. thing...

I also took the liberty of looking at the Dead Space ones as I know how good the graphics are on 360/PC/PS3, and you might even agree the PS3 does look much better with the shading etc, however, I've never seen those lines that go across, NEVER, so maybe they were a fault with the screenshot they took ?

The same goes for CoD:WaW as well, the textures on PS3 > 360 by a longshot, as well as the colours.

i got the 360 elite and to be honest it seems to freeze less than the old ones(its froze like 3 times in the 1.5 years ive had it) but thats if you wan't to fork out the extra $100 to $150 dollars on it
plus ive had it for 1 and a half years now and no red ring of death
but really it depends on what one you prefer my friend has a Ps3 and i think its good apart from the midget ass controller

Well about the graphics I readed this somewhere (It was a review of killzone 2 , not sure if the guys was a ps3 fan or not .. I guess not saying killzone sucked)...

BUT , He did say this :
There will probably never be an Xbox 360 game with this level of graphical intensity. We have been waiting for two years to see a game that truly showed everything that the PS3 could accomplish and this is certainly it. The particle effects from smoke and dirt being kicked up are realistic. A battle will be going on and bullets landing around you will throw up dust. The character models look approximately twice as realistic as in Gears of War and more realistic than in Resistance 2. The reflections and metallic effects are spot on, characters have dynamic lights on their bodies that will light up surfaces they are near occasionally. The characters move and react realistically and the physics are pretty good. I have seen some graphical glitches, like bullets floating in thin air when they fall onto uneven surfaces. Overall, very good.

here's the source , read it yourselfs if you don't believe me .

EDIT :
also there was 1 reason why I would have bought a xbox , but now thats gone to .
Extra levels to download original this was xbox exclusive , well thats been changed now .
I've seen extra levels for donwload for Folklore and extra stuff for Soul calibur .

..People just can't adjust to new games, because they want everything to be the same between each other. There's nothing at all wrong with Killzone 2's controls. They were implemented in such a way to work with the game, and now after the patch to "fix" them, it plays much more like CoD4. Joy. Now it's just another generic FPS #424242.

And the graphical glitches..? What? No. The only 'glitch' has been that occasionally when someone gets revived, the flashing light that appears might stay in the air, but it eventually disappears. I've never seen bullets just hanging out, or anything other than that revival thing. It's not game breaking at all.

Rofl. They're being picky about the melee attack not using the knife? You use the butt of your rifle, because it's more realistic to use that than to put your rifle down, whip out your knife and stab, then pull out your gun again. They're going for realism in this game, and whipping out your knife is just not smart to do in a firefight.

There's absolutely no reason why "movement" got a 7/10. None. The camera moves realistically with your character, in every possible way. When you sidestep, it tilts slightly, when you're running it bounces a little bit.. You really feel like you ARE the character. There's nothing wrong with movement. Except the possible motion sickness, but if that's the case, you're probably not someone who should be playing games in the first place.

Story, eh. I haven't even finished it, yet, been playing too much multiplayer.

Again, with the controls and cover system, there's nothing wrong with them. These people just want shit hand-fed to them. "Waaaahhh.. I have to hold 2 buttons, oh noooeeeessssss." Stfu. It's not awkward holding at all. Feels very comfortable, and I hardly even know I'm doing it most of the time. It's like second nature, now.

Lrn2adapt, plzkthx.

What exactly makes the PS3 any better? The graphics arent so different really and is that all that matters in games these days, graphics? Both have many of the same games, a few exclusives here and there, and the PS3 is much more expensive. Those two points should be your main criteria in deciding. Are the PS3 exclusives worth the extra cost in your opinion, or do you like the 360 exclusives better?

Well I didn't writted this (I'm loving the game lol)
I just showed that to clear out the point PS3 beats xbox on graphics .
There are multipul reviews on that site that say so .

I love the 360, but you seem to be coming down quite heavily on FPS, so I wouldn't recommend you buy it. We have quite a few games that you'd love, but most people play Xbox for the multiplayer capabilities, which unfortunately are mostly focused on shooters. I wouldn't let one bad experience of a shooter ruin all other console shooters for you though.

Oh, and by the way, hasn't RPG Maker taught us graphics don't make a game? (at the little 360 v PS3 thing up there). If you really want to buy a console, consider both and make a decision based on the games you know you'll want to play, not just because a console has blu-ray/internet capabilites >.>

Btw - when you say FPS, do you mean all shooters or are 3PS okay?

Lame.

Just a tip for the future, a quote and a four letter word good post does not make ~wyatt

That's good and all, but what are your thoughts on it now? (Going back to the point of the thread) Was it good? Was it "worth it"?

How is stating a fact "lame?" At least it made someone laugh.

It's great. To my surprise, analog stick aiming isn't all that bad, depending on the game. I still prefer mouse, but I'm not that bad in Halo. As far as shooters go I'm mostly sticking to exclusives, i.e. Halo 3 and Gears of War 2. But then there are other types of games on here that I know will never go on PC or control better on consoles, like fighting games or adventure type games (3rd person non-FPS games like Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, etc.) I can at last play with my friends now...who all went back to consoles when I finally got a gaming computer to play with them when THEY were playing on gaming computers.
