England is full of these scum-bag scroungers, I'm just glad I don't know any in person. But thanks for bringing yet another girl who's house, car, nappies, food and clothing i'll be paying for in the next decade to my attention.
House? Car? You must be joking. Firstly you can't draw full benefits till the age of 18. Secondly, no one on welfare is likely to be able to pay for drving lessons and then a car. And take out a morgage? As if. If a teenage mother doesn't live with her parents, the best she'd be able to do is a low-rent council flat.
there was an announcement on the radio that teenage girls are favouring getting pregnant and recieving benefits as apose to working low-paid jobs
Oh, Daily Star FM was it? Let's all believe the first piece of tory propaganda we hear, even when it makes a statement that can't possibly be backed up by any kind of evidence whatsoever! If you don't know any girls who've gotten pregnant, and you can't bring any statistics on the subject, then do you actually know
anything about what you're talking about? Where do people get these ideas that welfare is this huge sum of money paid to people 'too lazy to make their own'? Where did this demonised image of single and teen mothers relying on benefits actually come from? Well, everyone says they exist, so they must, right? They're always in the newspapers, so there must be loads of them, right? But the people you talk about this, they probably don't hang around with teen moms from the estates. Who was it, that actually had the experience, that knew what they were talking about, that started off this little myth? No one, of course. It was pretty much invented by those with wealth and education sufficient that they never had to go near a teen parent, as a way to pin the problems of the country on someone, (like immigrants and terrorists now). "The reason you don't have as much money as you
deserve is that teenage mothers are taking it, because they can't be bothered to get jobs! If they weren't so lazy, they would be able to support themselves despite the fact that they are generally poorly educated and trying to raise a child! Elect us, we'll get rid of benefits, and then you'll be richer!"
