Hell come to my old high school where the security guard was smacked in the face with a brick, and needed 6 stitches on the outside, and 8 on the inside of his lip.  And the kid who got stabbed in the hand with a butterfly knife.  Not to mention the other knife fights that were almost like a sport.

A gun - sure, yeah they'd get involved.  But everything else they let slide because it's... well.. I'm not sure why actually :\

Depends what your talking about.  The alternative school system is a world onto itself.  And I was speaking more about the first post that alleged two murders in the building in the same school year.  Can't sweep that under the rug.  Fighting is no big thing where I'm at but assaulting security gets you booted easily.

Ughh, getting jumped is the story of my life. There are always dudes who want to take me out. Why? Cuz, of my sister. Most dudes consider her a hottie and I won't stand for any of it, so thus, jumpage occurs. But, like Ice said, if your not in martial arts then, you probably won't have near as much fights. (3rd Year Martial Artist, Brown Belt, probably should take some photographic evidence of it.)

It's really funny how a Bel Air's gotten hijacked into a legitimate thread.

I only ever got in one actual fistfight, I got jumped by three guys.  Two of them were really short and one was really tall, and they'd all been trying their very best to pick on me and failing miserably to get my attention (I was a weird kid, very weird, I was used to and vaguely amused by this sort of thing).  So one day they hop off the school bus at my stop and decide we're going to throw down - probably because one of them tried to trip me and I "stumbled" my foot into his shin.  I completely ignored the two little guys and wailed on the big one, but after a couple minutes they managed to get me on the ground, big guy delivered one cheap shot and they all ran off after that like they'd seen the devil.

After that they stalked me for a while the next morning till they got on my nerves and I told them all to go fuck themselves or else do something about it.  A day later, the two little guys started following me around like I was going to be the new boss and they were gonna be toadies and the big guy wouldn't come within 10 feet of me or look me in the eye.  I don't know, I guess that counts as winning.  They all lost interest in a few weeks when it was apparently determined that I wasn't going to be the middle schools' next star boxer or something.

Most of the time though I'm pretty good about talking people down and agreeing to disagree.  Anyway, good deal, sharing some stories.  I didn't have any rich uncles to move in with though.

I don't get it.  I honestly don't.  Everyone's saying they are good with talking people down, or working out differences.

Do I live in the only region where people mug?  Which is jumping someone, and then stealing - just to let you know, in case it is a local phenomena. lol

I was mugged this one time, well an attempted mugging.  Let's call it a jumping since nothing got stolen.  These seniors in high school wanted something of mine, like a chain or something, and came up all tough with the "Gimme the chain."
No.  Gimme the chain.  No.  I said gimme the chain!

A few punches later, I've got one hand on the chain the other covering up and punching out.  I was against the wall and a locker in that little corner so I didn't have to worry about being surrounded, and it lasted only a good twenty seconds before security popped by.
They told security I robbed the chain, security believed them, but I was able to get it back.  I swear, everyone's talking about jumpings does no one get mugged?!

Maybe it's just because we don't call it "jumping" here. We call it "rushing", and yes I've been "rushed" lots of times, but so has everyone else.

Never mention the words "Warhammer", "Stargate", or "Green Day" anywhere near my school. (For some reason, rock music = geek, metal = geek, stargate = geek, games workshop = geek, but 50 cent = cool).

I think only a month or so ago a friend and I got jumped by a group of 8 or 9, suffice to say we didn't win.  He got hospitalised and I was fine - I seriously don't recall how I got off so light.  I was pretty drunk and all I remember was being on the floor being kicked and stuff and next thing I see is all the flashing lights of police and ambulance..

I also had some crew after me for like 2 years with their knives cos I supposedly flirted with their girlfriend.  They were pretty sad though ,they carried around an assortment of weapons in a football boot bag.

Hmm, third most funny occasion was when my two good mates got demolished by a Greek bar owner in Kos, Greece.  They said his cocktail was "good shit".  He misinterpreted and was built like a skyscraper.  They got a fair few soccer kicks to the face. 

All started by alcohol though, tut tut.

As for school, no never.  When I'm sober I know who to keep my mouth shut around.  I had one on ones but they are unavoidable with the idiots that won't let things rest until they have had a fight.

lol Wyatt do you live in the UK aswell coz that's what they call here in London,but for some reason "rushing" is completely insane like once the whole of "year 11" rushed "year 10" meh I wasn't in school that day, but even if I was they would have probably spared me  :sad:

The next day I came back half my class was missing and I asked where they were one of my friends told me most of them were in hospital and the rest were either excluded or just staying at home. Some scary ass news that was and for some reason I'm never at school when this sort of stuff happens! God truly loves me xD

I've been jumped many times. But I've never got beaten up or even started bleeding from a fight. I always got out victorious. Most of them were just idiots who thought that they were tough and tried to prove it by jumping people, but I don't think they managed to win any of the fights.

Full contact tournaments are not sparring, in fact neither are regular tournaments, sparring is the practice matches you do during training.

Also my school got involved over anything, they were....over protective? (not really the phrase I was looking for but I can't be bothered thinking of another one) anyway lets put it like this, my friend threatened to fight someone on MSN (the guy was such a geek but he happened to be going out with a friend so he was in one of our msn convos) and the guy printed a screenshot of the convo and took it into school and my friend got in trouble for it.
And of course there were fights but never knives or guns, and a security guard at a school is completely unheard of in Ireland O_o

Nah your not the only one, I ended up getting mugged last night on my way to work.  I walk alone usually and have never had a problem until now.  In Oregon you don't hear much of that shit happening.  I was passed by a guy who walked ahead of me for a bit and then stood waiting at a stop sign.  I didn't think anything of it as I passed him, but as he fell out of my vision just behind me he suddenly blindsided me in the side of the head with enough force to make me stumble out into the road.  I wasn't sure what happened at first and tried to regain my balance as I turned around.  Before I had my footing back he had already charged me and slammed me into the ground, he probably outweighed me by 80 lbs. and had a lot of weight backing him.  He then proceeded to start kicking me as I was on the ground but I was able to maneuver myself to face him with my legs where I was able to kick him in the knees everytime he tried to take a shot at me and keep the damage to a minimal.  

I was confused about what was going on at the time and my adrenaline didn't even pick up throughout the fight.  The entire thing was one sided as he wasn't about to give me the chance to get up again and as padded as he was I'm not sure what I could have done boxing him anyway.  I was sure that I saw him walking on the other side of the road with someone else earlier and my thought was that this other person was probably still in the vicinity watching.  I did end up taking one shot in the mouth giving me a minor fat lip, a light shiner on the cheek but he did get a good shot in on the side of my head which has my ear pretty purple and red right now.  It bitches any time the thought about touching it crosses my mind.  He demanded that I give him my money which I told him I didn't have and he preceded to tear my $30 ipod off of me and took off down the road.  

During the attack at least 3 cars drove by and wanted no part of it.  I was more pissed with myself for letting it happen and decided to say fuck reporting it to the police.  I deserved to have my music stolen as I didn't see the attack coming, my own personal failure.  I would have liked to have been given the chance to have boxed him but I won't lie as I don't know what kind of damage I could have dealt him.  I'm a smaller guy but I am still quick.  Unfortunately he was wearing a few layers of clothing that would have rendered body hits useless and against his weight over mine my only chance would have been distance.  He of course wouldn't have given me that either.  

He was a generic gangster impersonating 200 lb. bald mexican with a head like a bowling ball wearing hiking boots and a plaid wool jacket.  Not much to go on for a description anyway though if I saw him again I'm sure I would no him.  He looked really familiar to me like he might live in the area which would explain how he knew my normal route.  I'll have a surprise for the motherfucker if he wants to try to make a habit out of it next time however as I'm sure he'll appreciate taking 950,000 volts in the face from the device I just ordered.  Was sore working tonight but my body can absorb damage pretty well.  I was able to get back up immediately after the assault.

The good news is when he ripped the ipod free he fucked up the headphones disabling him getting any use out of it, and it can't be updated any more anyway as it was cheap to begin with and is now discontinued.  This also gives me the feeling that he will try again to get more out of me in the future.  I look forward to droppin this motherfucker in the worst way this next time around.

I'm not proud of losing, but it didn't register to me as life threatening or even get my heart pounding or adrenaline pumpin as was typical in a fight anyway.  No fear or anything, I was more or less confused about why he was attacking me more than anything else.  So yea I got fucked up last night from a cheap bullshit assault.  I'm trying not to let anger take hold as it was my fault for not being better prepared for it.

Not really.  The four of them had consistently picked on others for their own amusement, and individually, I put a stop to it.  They apparently didn't like how I had stood up for the kids that they were abusing and decided to 4-on-1 me.  That cowardice was reason enough for me to turn their faces into hamburger.

Because I wasn't (and am still not) afraid of doing whatever's necessary?  Despite sounding like a bad movie, I take pride in the fact that I beat the shit out of bullies when I was younger.  Somebody's gotta stand up for the little guy.  I'm not ashamed because I went after every single bully I could find and hit them until they were bleeding everywhere.

I'm not sure what you should be more embarassed about, that as a big tough "Bully of bullies" you were beat up by four girls or that you stalked and attacked them, that's pathetic.

Oh man, where do I begin.

One - You do realize I'm a girl as well, right?  I wasn't fat during grade school but like I said, I was always 6 inches taller than everybody else.  I'm exactly 6 foot right now, and I'm pretty wiry.  I attacked both male and female bullies regardless.

Two - Let's assume you still thought I was male for a minute.  Because I beat up 'four girls' the crime is somehow worse?  Fuck that.  I'm all for equal punishments as well as equal rights, and even if I were male I'd have no qualms about beating the shit out of a girl if she damn well deserved it.  Thinking 'OMG THEY'RE GIRLS YOU CAN'T HIT THEM EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD BE SOCIALLY FINE TO DO SO IF THEY WERE MALE' is fucking bullshit, and people who still think that way need to have their faces mutilated by a rabid one-eyed garbage cat.

Three - They deserved it, plain and simple.  They were bullies, they laughed at the kids they harassed and they bragged about their exploits with each other.  They deserved every single punch they got.
