though it ill never happen .

- FF 2 and 9
- Legend of the dragoon

Why does noone understand that Golden Sun is a NINTENDO ONLY FRANCHISE?

I've been playing FFVII:Crisis Core and I have to admit, I would really, really, REALLY like to see a FInal Fantasy VII remake. (although FF9 still tops my list)

Why does no one understand that Golden Sun is a HORRIBLE FRANCHISE?

Well, aside from the obvious FFVII

EVERY SINGLE MOTHERFUCKING POKEMON GAME PUT ONTO ONE CARTRIDGE.

If I can have that, I will literally have a orgasm in my pants. Its also partially why I loved crystal the most, due to that when you beat the Jhoto Elite four you could go back to Kanto and practically replay the first set of the games with new pokemon, as well as fight ash ketchum (err, Red). Crystal was, in my opinion, the best of the pokemon RPGs that were made. In terms of actual pokemon game, the best one was actual mystery dungeon. I cannot tell you how much fun I had playing that game, and it was also the most creative one as well.

I have to admit, seeing a next gen version of legend of dragoon would blow me away completely I've been hoping for a sequel to that game since the day I beat it. And I would love to see a Legend of Legaia 3 on the ps3, because too was the greatest disappointment compared to how amazing one was.

I'm gonna throw this one in there...
Megaman 64 (On the playstation it was megaman legends, there was a megaman legends 2 as well, maybe they could bundle them both on one game...)

I liked it and improved graphics would do it a world of good because often it was hard to distinguish where exactly you should be searching.

Aren't all Pokemon games remakes of one another?

I really can't see why people enjoy Pokemon after playing several versions, it's all the same crap over and over and over again. Some professor dude named after a tree sets you out to catch pokemon and challenge the gyms and the Elite Four or their equivalent and there's some generically evil Team Blah out to use Pokemon for generic and whimpy evil. With games like the Megaten series that actually have both a plot and the addictive monster-breeding formula of Pokemon I just don't see why Pokemon is so ridiculously popular.

Advertising, I guess.

I think it's just the simple gameplay...
It stays fun to train the pokemon, let them defeat gyms, train them more, etc.

I know it's almost impossible, but here comes my idea about pokemon:
An online pokemon game
That you can see other trainers walking, and you can duel them, trade with them, or just talk.
I think that would be the greatest game ever...

Maybe some good scripters here can combine netplay and the pkmn starter kit :thumb:

Megaman Legends 3 would probably be the most anticipated one. Because they already tried doing it. I'd like to know what happens to trigger after getting stuck in elisyum...

I'm surprised nobody said Gauntlet Legends.
Like, the original arcade Gauntlet legends ported over to the Wii/PS3/Xbox360.

With better graphics.
Not the shit that was on the N64.

I dunno man, I won't begrudge anyone playing essentially the same game with a different skin but really, the money-making nature of the series is more transparent than a wet t-shirt. Take a look at the engine for the DS games. Besides some gimmicky semi-3D junk it's practically EXACTLY the same as the engine for the GBA games, not to mention it uses pretty much the same graphics.

Again, I respect those who continue playing version after version but I can't see the point myself.

agreed, even though they added in some anime scenes and gave you rewards for reaching all the endings.  The loading times weren't too bad, but there was lag going from standard gameplay to battle and vice versa.

lol, actually thats why I hated both compilations. The loading times sucked mah balls to the point where it was unplayable, and the music quality also went down the shitter. I mean, how do you go from good snes quality to cheap polytone midi (well, not that bad but you get my point)

VI needs a console remake badly.

I disagree. VI is the only great FF besides VII and IV that hasnt been tainted. I like it best in its original form, and I have a feeling if they remake it (prolly for DS) they would take all of its nostalgic value away from it.

What they need to do is port the Playstation final fantasies to the PSP (at least IX)
