Hi there, I have a few comments. First of all, your story sounds pretty interesting. I also like how your characters have unusual classes like "dreamer" or "lucite" worked into the mix. Makes it more unique
Concerning the look of the game, I think the maps could use some improvement. I do like that the exits/entrances are fairly clear cut (making it easier to navigate), but I think they could look more visually appealing. I just spent a fair amount of time revamping my own game's maps, and from this process I've learned a couple things you can do to facilitate this:
-Try using the rounded/diagonal autotiles for lava, ice, water, etc.
This site has a ton of great autotiles free for download. The original RTP autotiles are square, causing your lava and ice to look like blocky staircases. Rounded/diagonal AT's help solve this problem.
-Adding things like cleverly placed water, diversifying your buildings, and making the maps more detailed (using vegetation, changing up the cliff structures, etc.) helps a lot.
-Good fogs, particles, and panoramas go a long way in giving the environment a more realistic feel.
Anyways, hope this is helpful. Keep up the good work!
