It's true that Despain/Missingno is acting like a dick sometimes..
But some people should just get over that, or get out.
Of course, there are pro's and cons about it.
I don't say it's a good thing that he does that the way he does, 'cause there's a lot of complaining about it, and people that get flamed by someone from the staff are more likely to say nothing the next time they actually have something to say. (dunno if that's good or bad, but whatever.)
The way the moderating is happening here, is certainly different from other forums. I don't get why people complain about it then, and why they don't just shut up and leave.. (no seriously, I don't get that.) If they'd leave, and they would be right, the site's activity would drop by a fair bit. In this fictional case the moderating would be bad, and it'd have to be adapted.
This is not the case. People stay here, and new people come. (So it apparently works.)
For me, I use this site for my own benefit. (shame the download manager's still down)
Since I'm doing it that way, I don't care about who gets flamed, and who doesn't.
I pretty much make sure I don't say stuff that can be flamed.
