That's really interesting... I actually recently finished programming exactly what you're talking about. I wouldn't mind sharing a little, or even combining efforts.

o_o It looks the same but without the RMXP pictures. The only asset I see with this is that it costs less.

And...shadow is an admin? o_o I don't even see him on the forums, unless he's an IRC person.

anyway as for the forum skin I don't really care that much. it looks OKAY but other than that I'm sortof bleh. neither good nor bad. but it's good to switch forums. smf rules.

The main reasons for switching to SMF are:

* Licensing - The current VB license belongs to Erk, and will expire
* Cost - SMF is free, not having to pay for forum software will give us a chance to spend that money on bettering the site in other ways
* Reliability and speed - The current setup is very resource-intensive. Mysql has been crashing lately due to the load, which has been causing white pages and long load times. I'm sure you've all noticed this.

Please remember that this theme is still a work in progress, but constructive criticism is encouraged. If you don't like the end result, don't worry! There will be others eventually to choose from.

It's relatively common knowledge. Speaking as if you're absolutely right about something, only to find that you had not known something that's relatively well-known makes you look silly, and when you do that, you kind of have to expect some snide comments coming your way. I'd ask that you didn't get so... excited over it next time?

Also change your signature back to what it said about me, that one had some value, this one is stupid and riding the coattails of the current trend.

RMVX.org = RMXP.org. You can have more than one address link to the same site.

You can have 329437847895 url's all going to the same site. It's forwarding, but it'll all work the same as if it were one site (which technically it is). Your username/password would work as it does now.

Think of e-mail forwarding, you can have 3498 addresses but need only check 1 of them if you set all other 3497 of them to forward all to the same address. Same thing.
