Final Fantasy VI SDK - Going Social!

Some news!
I started ripping Narshe for the next demo and the battle system is working well, considering what I have done with it so far. Also, the "Float" effect is done!

Some awsome work. Its not every day you see someone up to make a SDK of existing games to help out the creation of new RPGs. It would help me understand scripting a bit further (my skill is quite close to 0).

What I found very very usefull are the sounds. You can find huge piles of custom made musics, graphics, and scripts. But rarely you find custom (well not custom in this case) sound effects and RPG XP gives very very small amount of sound effect to start with.
 
Here's something new!
I'm working on a little playable CBS demo which should be released soon!

The CBS will include:
-Almost all options of my Animated Battlers System
-Normal/Back/Side/Pincer/Preemptive attacks
-Troop Introductions (ex: slide, ceiling, out of water, etc.)
-Damage Algorithm
-Timing Algorithm
-ATB (thanks to Trickster)
-Custom Battle Result
- ... Maybe more!

The next CBS will be released with FFVI SDK v.2.0

Yes, I will recreate the world MAP. But as I said before, this 3D thing you're talking about (called mode7) will not be included. Unless I (or someone else) find a perfect mode7 script. I mean one which support map rotation.

By the way, since a lot of people were asking questions that have been answered before, I added a FAQ in the first post. Please, read it before asking something. You might find you answer there. ;)
 
Wow, this is freaking awesome.

I'm currently working on, with a few others, an FFVI prequel starring... *cough* Kefka, using RPG Maker XP. I've got pretty much all sprites and tilesets if those would help in your effort (I'm on pins and needles waiting for the battle system to be done in FFVI SDK... RMXP's default is um... not exactlywhat I'm looking for), I'd be glad to upload those. I also have every sound effect, musical theme, and background sound such as wind, etc. but it seems you have that under control.

At any rate, if you need any of those, let me know. Although I rarely check here (I look to your site for SDK updates)... I'm usually on IRC, though. (irc.starfusion.org #KefkasTower) so drop me a line if you do!

and i got the airship from final fantasy 6 and it needs mode 07O_o

What do you need ripped? I could try something. Just try not to do too-too hard on me, FFVI is really hard to rip from.

Well, the most important things to rip right now are weapons, shields and battle animations. Xenometal is already ripping alot of weapons, including their animations. I have ripped most of the battlers.

As I said, you can send me anything you would like to share!

Those things are all working like a charm! :)
