i want to get the perfect system before i actually start putting the enemys on it. :D

From watching those movies alone I must say you have some awesome skills. I am so jealous.
I think everyone should watch those vids before commenting on this game's ideas and such. A motion demonstration does really show off what it really is, and you say those systems aren't even finished? Wow.
 
Fucking awesome! What happened to the old zombie game? Whatever, this looks better. I don't know if you can still change it, but I think Rise of the Dead would sound a lot better than Rising of the Dead, or maybe even something completely different.

P.S. You better finish this one this time. Too good not to.
 
yeah the only reason my last projects wernt finished because my computer broke. but i saved this project on a disc everday when i do something on it.
right now im working on a blood system, and animations for when the zombie gets blasted from the shotgun

Looking really, good i do prefere your zombie games to your other ones, one thing though mate you spelt soilders wrong it's actually Soldiers, in your screenshot ;)

and OOOPS haha how could I have missed that.

For an update I'm working on diffrent animations..
The hero animation when he shoots the pump action shotgun, and a few zombie animations of diffrent limbs getting blown in half.
Like the zombies head getting blown off completly from the buckshot.
And an animation where you shoot their kneecaps and they tumble to the ground and turn into a crawling zombie.
Also was thinking 2 diffrent aiming modes for the shotgun.
You will be able to choose from hip firing the shotgun, or aiming it normally.

Since the shotgun isnt garuenteed a headshot, when hip fired you will be able to run while shooting, but your headshot chance drops alot.

But aiming normal, you wont be able to move while aiming, but it will be easier to blow their head clean off, so a better chance for headshot...

What do you think?

Also notice the zombie still gets up after he's blown in half..he just doesnt move because i havent made an animation for that yet

It will have alot more blood too.


as for beta testers, i will have to see. it might be an open beta, im not sure yet.
 
That graphiti on the garage door is 2x stretched horizontally. I know this because it's from GTA and the graphiti graphics on GTA are stretched 200% upwards. Just select it and shrink it 50% horizontal.

Oh yes, OMFG that looks amazing.

as for the tileset that is just a testmap.
Im going to make an original tileset for the actual maps..
just the GTA city chipset is all i had lying around
 
Will you have a pick up junk and use it as a weapon thing? So you can pick up fire extinguishers or plant pots and attack the zombies.
Oo. Idea for a weapon, Medievil Flail, so you can run in like a madman into a gang of zombies and take them all out.
