Not if it's a different kind of "pheonix". That reminds me how you can't have a copyright on an english word. :3
The only different type of Phoenix is if it is for a name, if you're referring to Gears of War, it was Fenix. The correct English spelling of Phoenix is spelled P-H-O-E-N-I-X.
Don't believe me, check a dictionary.
Here I did the work for you:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Phoenix

Here is another version of the word for the birdlike Phoenix:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=phenix

And don't bring up old news man, it's bad taste.

yeah I changed my mind about that breeze thing...
And furthermore, I always leave a second option open to myself just in-case I don't like the first.
Oh, thanks for the spelling correction, I'll fix it immediately.

Um... buh? .-.

So, you can choose to become a Lancer at level four or after the OTHER first job at level fifteen... Then, as a Lancer, you can become a Red Dragon Disciple at level 25, then a Dragoon at level... 20...

This progression chart seems really weird to me. For one thing, there's the fact that unless there's something unque to gain, no one's going to pass up the next strongest class in favour of one that's just as weak as before and then stick with that long after they could have gone on to the strongest class if they had taken the other path... And thene's the fact that Red Dragon Disciple's requirement is 25 but Dragoon's is 20. :x

I think you should sit down, collect your thoughts, and try again from scratch -- because right now I have no idea what's supposed to be going on.

:lol:mad:Chimichanga: Squire is the base class, from squire at lv. 4 you can choose to either become a Drake caster, or a lancer.  Choosing a lancer will result in you learning physical abilities and such, whilst a drake caster is more along the lines of a red mage(not exactly).  Since all Dragoons require magickal training you are thus forced to become a Red Dragon Disciple at level 25, in the event you chose to be a lancer.  If you chose to be a Drake caster you have a choice to either become a lancer, or advance to a Red Dragon Disciple, then to a Dragoon.

There is a seperate Job leveling system in the game if that's what you were confused about.

@retarded and overly chummy pet name: That's exactly what I had assumed in the first place, thank you.

Regardless of your rationalizations, the job progression still makes absolutely no sense. For my reasons, refer again to my last post, because I'm tired and don't want to repeat myself. Unless by "separate job levelling system" you mean that you can put levels into two or more jobs simultaneously, there is no way that that progression chart can make a nice, balanced system for your game -- and even then it'd be a stretch.

That makes a little more sense, then. Still, I don't understand why anyone would want to become a Lancer at any point in the entire game, since it takes ten more levels to actually get somewhere. As for spending an extra 15 to switch paths... Eh. Once again, I recommend you sit down and rethink the numerical values and general scheme.
