I understand that she may not want to talk about it, but if people are going out of their way to send their hard earned money to help her out I really think that at the very least i should get a decent explanation as to why that wouldn't work as a temporary solution! It's as if I just threw money for no good reason!

Being stressed out and/or having some sort of illness that is obviously not debilitating is not a reason to be out of work. There are people who actually have very difficult problems that still work for the money and housing, and based on your words, you are not one of those people.

There are valid points made here but you do have to also take into consideration that she may very well be one of those people. We don't know shit about her family so we can't really judge her based off of her decision to not want to go there [[even though it seems to be the only option]] but still...Its her decision and JD said it in earlier posts.

I've been refraining from commenting in this because I'm quite spoiled compared to most of the members here but it seems not enough people can repeat this. You need to do something.

You have a truck, in a worst case scenario you can find somewhere that won't charge you to park and sleep in that for a few days. I assume you have bedding so being too cold shouldn't be a problem, sleeping sat up might hurt your neck a bit but it's better than nothing. Have your dad hold onto the stuff you're planning to ebay and ask Sic to check your listings then send them off and get more funds. Most big stores have public bathrooms and most swimming pools will let you use just the showers if you ask and you're willing to pay. You can use the time you're not playing games or on the computer any more to do job hunting and hopefully find something and improve your situation.

And that's the worst case scenario.

It's been said in this thread somewhere that sixty'd be willing to let you live with him? If that's the case it's far better than the 'live in you truck' option.

For christ's sake you need to do something. I like you a lot and I don't want you to DIE or anything. You have a lot of options but you need to TAKE them and you need to take them soon before you lose your chance. For someone who expressed willingness to sleep on a lawn in a tent you are being awfully inflexible.

True. But I guess it comes down to trust in the end. If you believe that the person has good intentions then you can donate it and hope that its going towards a good cause.

Its like ebay'ing. How can you trust that the person on there is going to give you what you're paying for?

Trust.

Which is a problem actually. Its an honor system.

But the thing about Des' topic is he was not turning down options because well he just wanted a 360 [[hopefully the red ring doesn't plague it though]] and yeah options are given but turned down.

So again it comes down to an honor system or how much you trust this person.
