Anyway, back on track with the topic ...

I only said that because I'm your typical "Blow the shit out of everything" kind of gamer, and a storyline isn't really necessary. Atmosphere is usually essential, But I'm just not a massive fan of reading and trying to understand a storyline. It's just not me, and I can't help the way I am.

It does seem really interesting, And I'm sure you'll get credit for that! But like i said, it just isn't what I like in games and It brings up so many questions as to why i come to this place, but hey! :p

Yeah, I like those games too, I like both! I totally understand your mentality on gaming. My friends are all the footie team basically, so they just laugh at it! If it's not Pro evo, timesplitters or fightnight then its nothing! I just didn't understand what poetic meant in that context! The one thing I will say though is, if you do want to try it, Serenades host is absolutely ridiculous in speed so you won't have to wait too long to start it up!

I finished the demo about a few hours ago and it was enjoyable. The atmosphere and music are great. I loved the CMS. I found the puzzles to be enjoyable for the most part, though some were obscure. You could also tone down on the ellipses because they were unnecessary at many points. Overall, the demo was good. After some improvements for future releases, this game can turn out excellent.

It's great to hear that all the people giving me feedback generally played through the 3 hours, despite a lot of silly errors, such as passibilities and spelling. It has been a great benefit so far releasing the demo though , I have already been given lots of great ideas for the update. Please do keep your ideas and opinions coming if you have played this! I am eager to hear them!

i am stuck in the part of after you talk to your dad... What do you do???

other than that AWESOME GAME!!!!!

If you go to the living room with the fireplace and examine the fire, this will give you a hint of what to do. Your answer will be found in the other two rooms on the top floor besides your parents' room.

ok ok ok
1 thing

WHERE ARE THOSE THINGS
i have a jug of water

Erm...you mean a pot of water? Go to the bottom floor and there should be a door that leads into the living room area, with a fireplace in that room. I think you can figure it out from there.

If you already have water, then all you do is go downstairs and into the room that is central between the two stairs. Examine the fire. This will then prompt you to extinguish the flames.

Why don't you just subscribe to this thread? You can do it by clicking the "Thread tools" tab at the top right of this topic and select "Subscribe to this thread".

Once you are subscribed, go to your CP and manage the subscription so it prompts you by e-mail when a post has been made. It even gives you a preview of the post so you know when an update has been made by Calibre himself.

It's not really 1 big puzzle game at all, it develops from how it starts.

Also, I didn't even know that you could subscribe to a thread... I bet it can get a bit annoying if it's a thread people post in a lot.

:O OK...

What are the implications of doing that Serenade, will it break all the links temporarily, and how will it affect the download speeds?

@Everyone Else

Two things, I have started fixing all the little reported glitches to make an updated version. Does anyone else have any suggestions for me, it's best now while I am still making many alterations to tell me soon!

...And, does anybody think writing a tutorial is worthwhile for now, does anybody need one?

EDIT:

I have been playing through the release myself again and now that I am up to the mines I have made an observation myself. A lot of people have said that the battles are both too hard and just a bash enter fight. But... by using the skills I have found the battles REALLY easy, haven't come near having a PC die and haven't used the restore points. I also only have their default weapons equipped, no armor at all. So maybe the battles are a little more tactical than they appear? However, the accuracy loss when poisoned / stickied is definitely an error.

Man, I'm having a hard time with one of your puzzles. I'm ashamed to announce it but if you could provide help in a spoiler.

I'm right in the beginning where your in that 'underground factory' thing and it says the left sided pressurized sensor has to be 3/4 of the weight of the right. I can't figure out the right combination of boxes that would equal it. Could you give me a hint as to how much weight I need on the left side or what type of boxes I would need? Thanks!

Sure thing... did you notice I mentioned could anyone do with a walkthrough? :p

I'll give you a clue for now, if you can't do it after the clue I'll check my thread for a good while longer. First things first, find out the right sided sensors pressure. Check the colors of the boxes that are on it. You can then look at the two notices to find out what is contained in the box and on the other notice what wait that shipment will weigh. So add the sum of the four boxes. Then the simplest way to work out 3/4's of that is to divide that total by 4 and then multiply it by 3.

Then it is a case of selecting 4 boxes that can equal that amount for the left sensor.

The links will be broken for like, a minute. And if anything, everything should be faster than it is now.

Ok, Calibre, I've done it a while ago. Thanks for the help. I've actually gotten pretty far in the game now. Thanks again. ;)
