My apologies!!!

I COMPLETELY forgot about Daylight Savings Time when I posted the deadline.

My time zone is EDT, not EST.

In any case, I will give everyone the benefit of a doubt, and allow a +/- 1 hour allowance on the deadline.

So, no worries, no need to change anything ... You all can still continue to operate as if your submission is due by 10PM EST.
It just means that I won't call time's up until it's 11PM in Tampa (EDT; UTC-4).


NOTE: Don't tempt fate! When in doubt, you're better off turning your project in early than getting DQ'd for being late!!

The original time I put down there still applies. 10PM EST = 11PM EDT. As far as anyone who isn't me is concerned, it's due at the same time it's always been due :D

So I wouldn't push it if I were you!

I'm taking the hit for my own screw-up, only really mentioned it for anyone who may be in my same time zone who is confused by whether we're in EST or EDT.
... But it's going to take me a good bit of time to ensure everything in the judging forum is set up correctly, and I'm not thrilled about the idea of staying up all night long to do it, so please don't tempt fate and turn your entry in late :D

Finish it as well as you can. So long as it doesn't seem like just a little demo then it won't be DQ'd.
We won't really notice if some planned features are missing since we never saw them

That being said... I'm gonna join my girl in the bar, lift some big glasses that would look more hefty if they weren't just filled with Coke, and fall into a very very long sleep in a couple of hours. And tomorrow, I won't be working on my game anymore... something I didn't think of for quite a while now :D (if only something better would've come out of the effort...)

To everyone still working on it: Hang on tight, have fun, don't kill yourself over it, and be assured I'll be playing every single contest game as soon as I can!
