Thanks for the feedback guys.
I can't even express how frustrating it was dealing with maps/tiling. This really is the best solution given I have a one-man team. As I get further in, more and more will be custom, so don't get too worried. Not too much is shown in that screenie, but every day I add more and more modern stuff, and I must say, it looks hot! Plus having RTP stuff gives me access to all the rtp chara's for NPC's and any other resources created by the community.

Hey, I just dropped in to say that I support this project and it looks awesome  :thumb:
The graphics are very original and the battle system looks wicked.
Your story and characters seem interesting, about Lynn's fighting style though, Kendo is more like a sport where you don't really use katana but a shinai, a practice sword.
What you were looking for is Kenjutsu, which means more of sword art/skills, and is practiced with real katana.

But anyways, good luck with this, it's a great project.  :thumb:

Pretty close to finishing the battle tutorial tech demo... But then I forgot about my Birthday! Which was yesterday... but I had planned on visiting my mom, so I won't be able to work on it much until next week.
