My favorite ending speech would have to be the one Saddler gives Leon at the end of Resident Evil 4, about how the American prevailing is a cliche that only happens "in your Hollywood movies. You amuse me Mr. Kennedy, so allow me to wake you from your world of cliches!". My favorite ending to a game is probably Halo1. I can't recall any other memorable ones.
Hmmm... I'd have to say the complete "ending" to Kingdom Hearts, starting from when you enter the final world (not the final battle) to the end of the game. The ending by itself is... well it's nice and made me teary eyed but there were a lot of dramatic and cool moments in the Castle Oblivion (or whatever Maleficent called it)
The bits with Riku, the event with Kairi, the seperation and unification of friendship... it was all just so nice
Plus, I mean, MALIFICENT! That witch just won't die!! (refers to the entirety of the KH series)
Meh, I thought it was completely groundless actually. It kinda killed it for me, but the drawings during the credits with the Grand Fonic Hymn playing in the background were nice, and saved it.
Well, I thought that the way they did it was tacky and kinda....bleh. It seemed like a last minute add-on....I mean, Keel and Meredy's relationship was more pronounced then their's.
If you had paid more attention in the game though, you would see constant hints that they had feelings for each other but were hiding them, and I felt like you were waiting for when they'd actually say something about it.
For me, I would have to say Final Fantasy VI and IX and X. VI because it just concluded the game so well, with all the character's at the end racing to the airship to escape the final dungeon. And a character sacrificing himself just to start anew (not telling who.). Then the part with the airship hovering over the clouds, then the land, then the girl having a baby (not a party member >_>.). Then the way the airship goes up into the open skies. Ah yes...
IX because IX has such a good ending. It was so cute seeing chibies hug, then thinking
she had lost him forever...
Yeah sad...
X because it is most deffinatly the more sad one throughout the series. It was just really sad. Deffinatly a must see.
I do like FFVIII's too, but it seemed a bit off. Something missing... Don't know what yet, but It's something.
