In truth I'd just like to say that while I may joke around about how x and y were shit admins, probably rather stupidly, I don't think we've ever had a bad admin at this site. The only problem is when they disappear without mention, such as when LG went down or when Ccoa and Erk left a sort of... power vacuum. I think we've had it pretty good here this past five years and I don't think they'll ever take that away from us. Even if all the staff picked up their bat and ball and went home, we'd still survive.

Hey if you dont want to get involved and do anything for the website I think your gona have to pick between black, yellow, or red. Lol.

I take offense in your saying yellows have done squat for the site, sir. *glove slap*

I think I popped in around the same time JD did. LG's absence left the site at a bit of a mess, so Erk took it upon himself to keep the place alive. The specifics of the shift of administration from Erk to TREG is still a mystery to me, but somehow I found myself in the staff for a short spell. Not really a memorable time.

Green / Administrators: Manage and run the site. Any coding, forum reshuffles, major site work, and major decisions, the Admins to.

Purple / Global Moderators: Moderators, but who can moderate the whole site. Keep the forums in order, and help with decisions.

Blue / Moderators: Keep the forums in order, help with decisions.

Gold / Sponsors: They paid dough to help the site stay alive ~ so they get some privaleges (click "sponsorship" in the top menu for more info).


There's also some groups for contest winners (such as Kuidon above), and a group for the eZine staff. No special privaleges, I don't think; other than being able to view some hidden forums.

You forgot to mention that many of the sponsors are former staff members who were given Sponsor status after stepping down. (The funny thing is that many of them still technically have the ability to moderate, etc, because their old ranks weren't removed)

As for me? I first stumbled on this site when it was going strong as RMXP.net. Prowled for a few days, then left. I'd come back every so often after that, usually in hunt of something useful. After the community I was a forum whore at was closed, I moved on to a few smaller forums, and started lurking here as well. Then, as some of the communities I was posting at grew boring, I came here. And started learning how to script.

So yeah, I saw a little bit of everything this site ever had to offer, but I never really saw much of it in detail until sometime last year or the year before.

no they were given the "ex-staff" rank, which is like a sponsor who can still see the modforums. they can also moderate the modforums. but otherwise they're like cooler sponsors
