I remember dragonkid. And then I left before the huge issues with dragonkid popped up and the logo changed and the mods changed and all that good stuff. And I came to the Despain era and I heartily despised Despain (part of the reason I stayed the hell out of general discussion/symposium/etc) and Diss was ok but still rubbed me the wrong way a lot. And now I'm a mod. Woo.

Oh and I remember being really angry that Guardian was promoted to mod XD

Guardian always seemed like a weird choice, yeah. he was an alright guy as far as having a head on his shoulders went, but he was really inflexible, with an affinity for melodrama and not much of a sense of humour. it's especially strange considering how much the staff liked to joke around back then.

Despain was actually a good member and staffer, everyone remembers only the bad shit, but there was good shit too, and what was good was really good. It's just that what was bad was really bad. So it's a wash I guess?

Anyway the favorite thing about this forum is Sophist -- I, after all, met him on the forum and now live with him :O~

man idk what my favourite thing is about here. I just like things generally y'know? there's some stuff I have problems with sometimes, but for the most part you're all pretty cool and although I'm a right asshole about all and sundry (it's because I love) I see some solid potential goin around in places and that's cool too.

so we'll say my favourite thing about the forums is the Rocky series because I just got back from watching a bunch of Rockies in a row and I think I'm even typing like him a little bit

I liked the Ccoa|Erk era fairly well. I really don't recall that many spammers and crap posters, but I do seem to remember like, three hacks in quick succession. I also remember the leaving bandwagon when Alexia and a lot of other staffers left.

Thu Mar 29, 2007 was when i joined, i didnt do much or post much
and if i did it was all noobish but im better now, but seeing as i have no windows based computer and a mac i cant use rpg maker, at the moment im hopelessley trying to port it to mac via cider with no luck

I remember being a part of the Lord Gradient era, but i was only registered under some gay hotmailish type name then, I took quite a while learning the way forums (in general) work cause I really had no idea what they were at this point, I only rejoined with a new proper alias when I had my project thread to show, was called Celestial Requiem at the time (was the best 'me too' name I could think up). I used to be very helpful back then. Then when I lost interest / time in game dev I used this place to amuse myself because I was addicted to the internet, now I'm sort of back into game design I'm trying to be helpful again but I'm probably not going to drop my wankerish persona because I'm a wanker in real life.
