I'm always getting a blank page when trying to open the forums up.

The browser says 'done', but it shows a blank page with the correct URL at the top.

Is it supposed to do that? Seems odd.

That's happening on lighttpd, which we are testing as a replacement for Apache. It'll get fixed don't worry.

every time I try to access the site when it's down i'll redirect me to an ask search result, even though my default search engine is google. is that normal?

Your browser is hijacked to display Ask search results instead of Server timed out errors.

I wasnt able to get on at all yesterday.

Edit: I found a buggy.
When i use the unread replies, it shows ME! Like, posts made by me show up there.

Btw: Where's the "Show my signature" button?
I dont like posting my sig when I'm in the more professional areas of RMXP.

Meh.. SMF will often think replies you just made are unread. It's not really our bug it's theirs.

If you are still having problems (that means within the last day or so, not before), please post them here. If you're posting about a problem make sure you include a screenshot (if applicable), the date/time the issue occurred (preferably in UTC (aka GMT) - use timeanddate.com to convert between timezones) and most importantly, steps to reproduce the problem. Without this, we can't do much.

If nobody posts any further issues within the next 24 hours I'm going to assume that everything is working okay and go into hibernation...

I Bareley started having this problem today. Everytime I check My unread replies it keeps saying that they are unread even though I do check them

I'm having the same trouble. On SOME threads, it'll still say it's unread, even after I post in them, myself. :'\

Only started doing this after the site was down that day, I just figured I was stroking out or something because I thought I was the only one with the prob.

Venetia, when you reply to a topic, are you taken back out to the forum, or are you taken back to the thread to read your reply? If you're taken back out to the forum, it may be an issue with SMF thinking that the thread has new posts because you didn't get to read your own post. Just a thought..

Nope, I have it set to return to the topic. It only does this sometimes; maybe it's a problem with the way my browser is reading cookies. But it really just seems like it started happening recently. Ah, well

If it's only happening in Internet Explorer, then I really don't care. I can't say I've seen this behavior in alternative browsers.
