and drop the heavily victimized attitude, dude. the fact is that these conflicts arise because you're always snapping at people for fairly small stuff.
as a sidenote, to kind of build off of sophist's point, if you're always so negative with people when they make decent comments (I agree, some are less useful than others and some are obvious spam, but the former doesn't deserve any sort of disdain) then people will be less and less interested in your project thread because the person directing it is constantly coming off as someone with a superior attitude and predisposition towards arguing over petty things. it doesn't matter whether or not you're actually like that, because that's the impression you're leaving. people don't like seeing people approached with that sort of demeanour unless it looks like they deserved it.
so you see it's in your best interests as well to take this sort of stuff with respect -- this was more or less my point when I said "don't be a snarky bitch, it's bad advertising," albeit phrased in a less abusive manner.
