Your favourite guitarist?

Howlin' Wolf
Even if he wasn't the best, and not as technical as B.B. King. And mostly due to the song Spoonfull (because if I hear another person say clapton's name with that I'ma slap'em).

or

Jesper Strömblad, for some reason... and I'm still not sure why.

I met Jesper Strömblad after an In Flames concert in Toronto. I have photographs of my friends and us hanging out with the band.

My inspirational guitarists come from Marty Friedman Former lead of Megadeth, John Petrucci of Dream theater, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kirk hammett, Adrain Smith of Iron Maiden, Jason Becker, Alexi laiho, Jani of Sonata Antartica, Syu of Galneryus, basically anyone with a good sense of music, melody, and feeling rather than guitarists that like to run up and down the scales at fast tempos.

Matt Bellamy!!!

Space rock ftw! He is often under-rated and over looked but in my eyes for technicality, style and such he takes the ball.

Out of those dragon force and kirk hamett along with alexis laiho and if bassests count as that is what i am flea robert torjilo cliff burton and the bassest from helloween

I'm going to have to go with Alexi Laiho, Dimebag Darrell, and Steve Vai.

Although Tom DeLonge is my favorite. He may not be an amazing guitarist (actually, he's terrible, he sucks) but he writes amazing punk riffs.

Ok, so I watched all those videos in the first post, and saw all those mentalist metallists, then I went and picked up my electric, and played it clean, then played it with distortion, and then I just wasn't as impressed. Obviously, I can't play anything like that, but it reminded me that on electric, if you practice forever, you would end up being able to play like that. They play incredibly fast, just not very well.

(Although, the guy who was playing Vivaldi really did impress me, despite the fact that I can't stand delicate classical music on electric guitar)

I like Dave Gilmour's style, although he might not be the fastest or the best one, to me he is able to give a certain feeling to his music.

Delicate classical music? lol
Wagner was delicate? or Grieg?? lol, Classical music can't be delicate, mostly I would say it got a great dynamic range.

Funny guy lol

Peace
