WIP Dump Thread

Ok, guys, basically its as the thread states. Dump any track youre working on or have finished a while ago. No full album, soundtracks, or workshop threads (threads asking for critique on your music), full topic that shit, ok? :p

It can be anything, a recording, a song youre working on, a small wip, or a full orchestral tune, etc. Basic criticism can be applied here but a "hey that sounds awesome!" kind of thing works great too.

Also this isnt a LOL DICK SHOWING contest, so just chill and post your dump's :smoke:

I made this a couple of weeks ago. I only used the DSK Asian Dreams VST to make this as well. Its quite short and really doesn't evolve. The other thing that might be problematic is the fact that its too "ending" in the beginning. Its more of a lullaby or something along those lines. I think the Sitar is too sharp, but whatevs. o:

i like the song, it reminds me of something from wild arms the vst sounds very ripped from the softsynth vst though, i think that might be where dsk got it from

i need more oriental music's T_T

it's probably due to the fact that windows media player is in a separate window, and i can't be assed to turn if off
though it's quite good.. maybe if you make it slower, and give the bells more reverb, it could be even more epic.

i was just trying out that site in the thread firgof made, and some chords were played
which made me ramble on my keyboard.. and i decided to record them, so i could do something with it later
anyway, here's the result.. nothing impressive though, couple of false notes too

we talked about this on irc but i like the progression alot! the inner chords on the second wav sounded muddy but it was cause they were so similar to the originals

For the sake of learning new music software I basically just took some cave story midis and tried my hand at remixing them. It's not great, but imo for a remix it came out okay. Also when it exported it came out BALLS LOUD so turn down your volume a little beforehand.
