From a curiosity standpoint I'd rather they were released so that I can find out all the gossip. But I can understand why the USA would be pretty pissed about it. I still hope the news keeps coming, I'm a sucker for international affairs ~.

i laughed so hard, firstly i agree he probably didnt do it. that being said, if it was as simple as we wanted him gone, trust me he would be. yes there are things that are prob bad for people to read in the cables(our opinions of other country's and our dirty politicians) and yes this all needs to be dealt with, but not this way, it needs to be dealt with within our country not on the internet.

Apparently this isn't a spoof. He claims the condom broke; the girls claim he didn't use a condom when he said he was going to. They also apparently bragged about sleeping with him on Facebook afterward...

So yeah... You can see why some people think this charge is either trumped up or a honeytrap. :huh:

seriously though tracking someone across the globe for not wearing a condom is pretty sketch. it's probably the only charge they could dump on him without inadvertently making him a folk hero -- the whole dude-on-the-run-from-the-government thing is pretty cool, but not if you're on the run for *gasp* sexual assault!

From what I understand:

He had one on, but it broke. Instead of them stopping and him slapping on another one, they continued. She now feels bad about this, so it is rape.

I guess logically speaking, if a male is using a condom and it breaks, he has just committed rape. The same goes for Femidoms I guess.

Now I kind of want to find a woman willing to wear a brittle Femidom so I can claim rape :/

typ when condoms break it's not like "SNAP!" and it rips in half or in some noticeable way
