Which is the best Final Fantasy Game?

FFVI is my favorite, then X, and IV comes third. After that it's pretty much up in the air.

1 - Final Fantasy 9: Awsome ^_^.
2 - Final Fantasy 8: It was great.. but some part's through me off :/
3 - Final Fantasy 10: This game is so overated -_-; I was one of the people who enjoyed it! The graphics were amazing!
4 - Final Fantasy 7: I really.. didnt have a particular interest in this game.. Just me l guess..

-Best Story (nothing to really say, it's not really arguable)
-Best Characters (Cloud, Sephiroth, Reno, Aeris, Barret, ETC)
-Graphics REALLY dont matter.
2)FFVI (FFIII in America)
-Very good story (Grasping storyline, keeps you clinging)
-Awesome Characters (Locke, Gua, Setzer, Kefka, need i say more?)
-It's SNES.. graphics dont matter
3)FFIX
-Awesome Story (great development of storyline, keeps you addicted (for a while) )
-Very very good Characters (Zidane, Garnet, Rusty, Kuja, and the bunch, really funny)
-Graphics are ok, but remember, graphics do NOT MATTER

With that said Mystic Quest and Final Fantasy Legends are #1 supreme

I never really understood the Legend games. I could never get into them that much, so I didn't like them. Mystic quest was great, just very different, still a vey good game though.

Anyhow, Id have to say I had the most fun with X2 from a gameplay standpoint. The sotry was standard fare, but this it always has been with ff. I really like 8 too.

FF: Legends are actually part of the SaGa series, not Final Fantasy itself. FF Adventure is the first Seiken Densetsu/Mana game but I'm sure you knew that already.

I don't know why they called the Gameboy versions Final Fantasy; probably to capitalize off the series' success.

That's why they call every final fantasy game final fantasy. If square published Brave Story it'd be Final Fantasy DS, if square published Magna Carta it'd be Final Fantasy gaiden. Yeah, they suck. But what really sucks if MC would of sold far more with that title.

I didn't know that. I knew about FF Adventure being Seiken Densetsu though, I always wondered why they called in Final Fantasy too.

Didn't they re-make FF Adventure though into Sword of Mana? I have to play that sometime.

FFVII was not the most graphically driven game of its time, there is Parasite Eve, Xenogears, Resident Evil, of which kick FFVII's ass in graphics terms...

FFVII had moderate graphics for its time, it didnt hit anything near the top......

Graphics really dont matter.... i still stand by my thought....

I can't understand while people can like FF8 so much. The storyline is pathetic, the characters have hardly, if not no, personallity. The only reason I like the game was for the battles, and Junction. Other than that, there wasn't anything I liked.

Also, Time Compression sucked.

well the characters did have personaily, it's just squall was such a goddam EMO the whole game he ruined everything..

Selphie has personality
Irvine has personality
Seifer has, f**ked up personality...
