This can be used as refrence for those who write tutorials as to what kind of things the community can benefit the most from.

One that shows the procedure, and syntax that is used throughout making menu systems.

I know it's useful, but I don't know how to use it. I'd love to see it broken down and learn its placement, and effects.

I use FL Studio, but if you're a freeware person I hear there's something out there that makes MIDIs pretty good. I can't think of the name right now, but I'll let you know when it comes to me.

Umm...well making the music fit the game is up to you and the style you develop. You could easily play a scene and imagine the music to it, and try to create the tune. The first step is getting at program.

Recolor tutorials. I remember there used to be a really good one somewhere around here, though I can't remember who did it. I think it was for Paintshop, but I'm not sure. One for The Gimp would be nice, since that's what I use (well, I will, if I can ever figure it out), and it's free so more newbies would be able to make use of it without having to go out and spend a lot of money on something.

Yea, I agree, a music tut will be good, not about how to technically use the program, but rather about how to apply an idea into music.

Well, I use FLStudio demo and sometimes Anvil Studio...

@syv: Syntax = code ^_^ (well, kinda, but that'Ss what you need to understand it ^_^ )

@Lunar: Recolor tutorial are the same for every program, hence there are two methods: Changing color one-by-one (palette-based) or change he hue of an image or parts of it (hue-based, results in palette changes, though). I might doing one in the future, but I wrote a tutorial just know, so give me a break ^_^

taht could be a problem, since people has their own style when it comes to coloring. You see, stevo, diegoale, cosmonaut, each of them uses hand-drawn pic a lot, yet they all have different style that's unique to each of them...
