I learned today that Pirates are stupid, in lesson:
TEACHER:
Whenever pirates ran out of ale, they would drink their own urine like tapwater, and if they ran out of food they would eat things called Wood biscuits, which are stiff tasteless biscuits.
ME:
But their stupid cunts, I mean, they run out of food, WTF THERE IS WATER, FISH LIVE IN WATER, FISH TASTES GOOD !, and drinking their own piss ? I'd rather drink a fatmans footsweat, didn't they know you can get the salt out of seawater ? (Not literally, but you can evapourate it with a plastic sheet above, it will become condensation, and when there's enough you can lick it off and it'll be clean, Yay for listening to one science lesson !)

Only that's a fairly unrealistic thing to do on a pirate ship. There wouldn't be enough of a stable surface to hold the water long enough to evaporate -- at some point, the water would get pitched out and lost among the spray. It's not a particularly high-yield operation, either. Try quenching a crew's thirst with the condensation on a tarp.

A Tool: A person who is easily manipulated, such as a screw driver, you use tools to get objectives you want done. My teacher is like that in the way of favoring students that are brown-nosers, and are involved in sports and/or cheerleading.  :thumb:

I learned that all my Opeth albums somehow disappeared from my computer music library! AHH! I just fixed that... luckily they were still all on my computer and in my house, so I didn't have to go through the trouble of either buying them again or re-uploading them.

I also learned that being sick for a week with the flu does really bad things to respiratory system, and hence your ability to run, even short distances. I was totally winded after running 25 feet today, and it's bugging the shit out of me, since I normally am a pretty decent runner.

EDIT: I also learned that my only posts in this topic have been bitching about me being sick. I'm gonna stop now. :/
