Had a DS. Sold it for a shirt (an expensive shirt >>).
Had a PSP. It got stolen. ;~;
My brother has a Xbox360, but he's not going to be living with us much longer.

I'm soon to be stuck on a ps2... again.
I think a PS3 looks cool, but it's way out of my price range.

I was thinking of getting a XBOX360.

Mass Effect is a space rpg coming out on it, and that's what is going to make me buy it.

I'm hardly an expert on any of this, but I might as well give my two cents. Currently I only own the Wii. I've enjoyed it a greal deal, though I am slightly frustrated by the lanquid schedule the games seem to be on. I'm grateful for the virtual console....it's perfect for me because I'm a compulsive collector. DVDs, old comics, you name it. Plus it really wasn't all that expensive!

I don't have a 360, but ArtBane and I have logged several hours into co-op Gears of War and I was very impressed. Enemies that are actually lethal..what a concept! I've also seen Dead Rising in action and overall the console seems pretty solid.

As for PS3, that price is just outrageous in my opinion. I would never pay $600 dollars for a console unless it was going to totally revolutionize the world of gaming, and the PS3 does not seem poised to do that. Though I'm a fan of the series, even Metal Gear Solid 4 doesn't entice me to buy it. I love those games, but not enough to fork over that kind of dough.

I read somewhere that Sony was still losing money on each PS3 despite the already high cost, and I felt kinda bad. I think the Blue Ray addition was a mistake, though it's hard to blame them after the success they had with PS2's DVD player. That came along at just the right time, when most people didn't own a DVD player and the technology was taking off. But Blue Ray isn't the same. The transition from VHS to DVD was not only thrilling because of the improved picture and sound, but also the addition of special features: deleted scenes, documentaries, commentary, things which seemed new back then. Blue Ray is just another visual/audio upgrade with the same features. Sony in general has a bad habit of trying to force formats on the populace when they're not really needed. You would think they would learn after the failure of the Beta back when they tried to take on VHS.

i have the wii i don't like the PS3 its too shiny and expensive the 360 is cool played it online at my friends house it was great playing gears of war a good game that you need a well thought out battle plan to win...and good aim....but i have the wii and its the only next gen i want.

PSP is not a gameboy rip-off because it is portable. It's basically a computer is you are into homebrew.

I definitly want to get a Wii just for Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I am a nintendo fan, first off.

I amways have been, ever since I first got my lovely NES...

Anyway, I first had a NES, then jumped to a 64 (lovely even more!) and had lotsa fun playing banjo tooie, oo7 goldeneye, mario party 1,2 and 3, and Donky Kong 64 (all of which are fun games)

I did not get a gamecube, both because they were expensive (at the time) and although I wanted one, I was not willing to pay for one yet... its only good starting game was Smas Bros Melee.

Then I started up on the Wii rave... I saw it first on the internet, about a week before its release date.

I loved it so much that I was going to get one the day it came out.

But of course, hardly anyone saying that did actually get one.

I waited until christmas, that was when we got it, and my was it awesome!

I am not sure what people say about "Hard to control" because almost everything on the wii is more fun and easier than with a controller. There are several exceptions, but there are very few of them.

For one thing, Wii Sports was the funnest game ever!
because it actually responded to your motions! Really, they did! The eonly exception there was boxing. Sometimes, if you did not punch at the sensor, or hard enough it would not work.

And then for Call of duty 3... wow. Took about a fourth of the game to finally get useed to the controlls (you should of seen me at first, could not hit a darn thing! Looking at the sky, spinning in circles... yeah)
but after you get used to it, it is so easy and fun!

I mean, you actually aim! not just click a joystick to the side again and agiain until you get there, and sometimes over steer and hare to go back, you just aim at screen, like a laser, and shoot.

We also got Raymond Raving Rabits and that is one of the funnest, stuipdest, funniest games I have ever played.

And then for Need for speed Carbon... Again... wow.

So easy to steer! and it is fun!

I know people turn their controllers when they are playing racing games on other systems, trying to turn more, but this one it actually works!

I have not had much experience with a ps3, but I did play it at a Gamestop place for a little while. Yese it has good graphics, but it kinda lacked... well, I got the feeling like I was choosing a gummy bear over a whole bag of swedish fish (my favorite)

It was not really enjoyable, it was just... ah, and then um... okay... then you want to walk away.

Anyway, I own a wii, and love the heck out of it.

I also own a Xbox (not 360) and love halo. that is the only game worth having a Xbox for.

The 360... not a whole lot of Experience there, but I like them none the less.
It is just, 360 had been out for a year before the wii, and it was old news.

Yes, good games, but the only one worth playing on it was quake 4... and I have a computer for that!

As I've said I want a Wii :P

Well the 360 keeps bringing new things out all the time, constant new updates on Xbox Live with lots of content to keep us happy :P
Loads of Arcade game that you can play and the cam makes them even funner

As for Quake 4, never played it. But there's other great games like:
Gears of War, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Oblivion IV and Lost Planet.

Kraft you're wrong :P ^_^

Lol. And Kraft, you must have some kinda really expensive computer to be able to play Quake 4. Like, one that costs at least four times more than the 360. O.o

I could build a PC that could run Quake 4 for around $550 :D

Not including a monitor, of course.

But you'd sell it for like $1500, right? 'Cause if I could do that, that's exactly what I'd do. :P

What the hack? Nintendo Wii was most voted :(
A little bit weird when i hold the remote control haha...

Playstation Portable was good if u got friend to wi-fi with :)
(winning eleven soccer game ANd need for speed car racing)

Most definite Ps3 cause of final fantasy and other good game.

P........S.........3...........

Reasons:
1. Final Fantasy XIII
2. Final Fantasy Versus XIII
3. Kingdom Hearts 3
4. Assassin's Creed
5. Silent Hill 5
6. Devil May Cry 4
7. Sonic the Hedgehog

Hey, anyone know anything about that "Mushroom Kingdom Hearts" game that Square is making for the Wii? Mario as a Keyblade Master... that's......different.

It's an April fool's gag, sir. Also, I take it you haven't played the Xbox360 version of "Sonic The Hedgehog", have you...? Not... a great game.
Also, my recent experiences with the PS3 have turned me off to the system, even with LittleBigPlanet looking all sorts of awesome. If the machine doesn't play Gradius III, IV and V properly, no deal. The lag... ugh, the lag...

Now, if Gradius VI came around... I may have to get a friend to buy one so I can mooch.

It can be played, yes, but the controls are incredibly sluggish. I thought it was just something wrong with the PS3 I was using, so I went over to the next room in this ...arcade type of place called "Digital Rush" to use a different one and the issue remained. For a game series like Gradius, it's very tough to play properly when the ship moves seconds after you pushed the buttons to make it move.
I'm a huge shmup fan, and that kinda thing matters to me.

That is simply bizarre, TBM. I mean, seriously - I can't think of any logical reason for that to happen...

Unless Gradius is one of the some 17 games that's not fully BC...
