I am a nintendo fan, first off.
I amways have been, ever since I first got my lovely NES...
Anyway, I first had a NES, then jumped to a 64 (lovely even more!) and had lotsa fun playing banjo tooie, oo7 goldeneye, mario party 1,2 and 3, and Donky Kong 64 (all of which are fun games)
I did not get a gamecube, both because they were expensive (at the time) and although I wanted one, I was not willing to pay for one yet... its only good starting game was Smas Bros Melee.
Then I started up on the Wii rave... I saw it first on the internet, about a week before its release date.
I loved it so much that I was going to get one the day it came out.
But of course, hardly anyone saying that did actually get one.
I waited until christmas, that was when we got it, and my was it awesome!
I am not sure what people say about "Hard to control" because almost everything on the wii is more fun and easier than with a controller. There are several exceptions, but there are very few of them.
For one thing, Wii Sports was the funnest game ever!
because it actually responded to your motions! Really, they did! The eonly exception there was boxing. Sometimes, if you did not punch at the sensor, or hard enough it would not work.
And then for Call of duty 3... wow. Took about a fourth of the game to finally get useed to the controlls (you should of seen me at first, could not hit a darn thing! Looking at the sky, spinning in circles... yeah)
but after you get used to it, it is so easy and fun!
I mean, you actually aim! not just click a joystick to the side again and agiain until you get there, and sometimes over steer and hare to go back, you just aim at screen, like a laser, and shoot.
We also got Raymond Raving Rabits and that is one of the funnest, stuipdest, funniest games I have ever played.
And then for Need for speed Carbon... Again... wow.
So easy to steer! and it is fun!
I know people turn their controllers when they are playing racing games on other systems, trying to turn more, but this one it actually works!
I have not had much experience with a ps3, but I did play it at a Gamestop place for a little while. Yese it has good graphics, but it kinda lacked... well, I got the feeling like I was choosing a gummy bear over a whole bag of swedish fish (my favorite)
It was not really enjoyable, it was just... ah, and then um... okay... then you want to walk away.
Anyway, I own a wii, and love the heck out of it.
I also own a Xbox (not 360) and love halo. that is the only game worth having a Xbox for.
The 360... not a whole lot of Experience there, but I like them none the less.
It is just, 360 had been out for a year before the wii, and it was old news.
Yes, good games, but the only one worth playing on it was quake 4... and I have a computer for that!
