Might I suggest that, instead of working on a follow-up chapter to this atrocious disgrace to the RM community, you instead remake the original? I played about twenty minutes of the first release, and it was, simply put, the worst RM game I have ever ever played. I understand that the first episode is pretty old by now, but the fact that you still have it up, and that you are proceeding with the next installment, shows that you don't seem to understand just how buttawful it is.

If I were you, I'd reevaluate this whole project of yours, and go back, and improve all of the bad stuff(i.e. nearly everything). Basically start over. Of course, I doubt you'd take my advice, no matter how much crap this is. Good luck.  :straightthumb:

Which version are you referring to...if its the one there now I see what you mean but if its the very first one please don't mention that crap to me because I really dislike it too. Also I been reworked Chapter 1 and plan to improve it some more don't worry this whole game will be reworked and the story is much better than what I've given I just don't like to give too much away, but I'll rewrite that too.

Well if it's not a very good reflection of the quality of the new stuff, then might I suggest you remove it, or at least make sure it is clearly defined as old, and outdated? Also, no offense, but if it follows the same plot, with the same characters, and everything, I doubt it's any good. :x

Wow...that Chapter is just a prologue so why change the characters and all that other stuff. So its not the gameplay that makes it bad its the whole concept to you hmm...I see.

Your story is lacking too, and I just don't like how this game is turning out so far. I played the old demo, and it was appalling.

You can't even credit material for your game, that's pathetic. You might as well start a new project and make a list of credits this time around.

WOW.....Wind, Fire,Water,Earth, Dark, Light, and Nature...
Um last time i checked all of these things, excluding Nature, Make up Nature.
A volcano of Water...A hot spring maybe? i can kinda understand that.
but a volcano of wind... And i can't wait to see the Volcano with some lava and fire and a beautiful oasis of trees, earth, wind, and water, you know, all the things that make nature.

Due to people hurtfully attacking me and my game without giving it a chance I'm modifying it to fit everyone's needs so the story while will have the same plot intended will be better and flow more in the direction everyone wants. Now all I need is to make a title screen and a new topic image which will be more graphically appealing.

Ok sence i dont want to look like a rude man i will explain a little better what im thinking...

The default battle system isnt terible but usualy it can get very boring. I see that you arent using the Default battle system and it is slightly different but the little time meters mean absolutly nothing to me...Yes it shows the speed of the character and allows them to attack when the time meter thing fills back up but that is still kinda boring...I see you are using Blizzards add on's so why dont you just use his ABS while your at it...Its pretty nice and simple to use. And just one more thing to say, i like you windowskin but further examination shows that your characters name is Ace...First off, Ace is way to over used in games ,and that is my real name...try not to make him a complete idiot...

The reason I don't want to use a ABS is because I will have to get battlers for them and I may not find matches to my characters and that can really push me way off schedule as I already am. And Ace isn't a huge character so don't worry.

ok good...you obviously dont know much about Blizzards ABS..It requires no extra character sprites. Just the ones you use to walk around with...Blizzards ABS was made for advanced users and complete noobs so it is extremly simple to use. You sould look into it. So you dont realy need to look for battlers.

The first step is to lure people in with your ad. If it looks horribly unappealing, then no one is going to give it a chance.
Also, im pretty sure people have played it as well!

well its not that hard to find monsters that walk around the map, there are RTP ones and i have found several on the spriters rescource website. you dont need a big picture for them unless you want to see them using a beastiary or somthing like that. But ive found that the ABS doesnt work with Beastiaries any way
