Very simple request eventing setting me back please help!

I'm eventing and I want to do:

Text
Set move route
Wait for moves completion
Text

I want to show dialogue, then a character moves, then show more dialogue... I know how to work these event actions individually, but I want it all chained together in sequence so the player character can't move and just watches.

How do I make it so the player can't move during the event sequence?
 
The only reasons why the character would/could be moving is because A.) you have the event running as a Parallel Process, or B.) you are telling the PLAYER to move in your Set Move Route command.

To fix A, set the event to something other than Parallel Processing. To fix B, specify the specific target in the drop down on the upper left of the Set Move Route dialogue box.
