That's the only battle-curve there is anymore. Nothing wrong with it, but there is a difference between easy and boring and tedious. Look at the first dungeon in MotW for example. It was easy to beat, but there was actually the possibility of being killed by one random encounter if you mash the attack button. However, I just had to keep pressing space here in order to win (outside of boss battles, where I also used the fire skill, which in my opinion is just as simple).
