recorded between december 2006 and july 2007.
mixed in july 2007.
all instrumentation, production, and most drum programming (excluding the basic loops in "Riverscape") by me.
monologues on "Open" and "Terminat" courtesy of Joshua Evensen.
numbers station recording on "Cycle 72" from The Conet Project.
Riverscape is pretty much my first foray into electronica. Prior to my decision to make it I knew absolutely NOTHING about electronic music -- I didn't even listen to it, aside from occasional lame trance or like Dol Ammad. I started listening to Boards of Canada a lot about halfway into the project, and a lot of Portishead around the time I made the title track (which was one of the last tracks I made). I started the project on December 23rd, 2006 (I believe) with "Cycle 72" and finished on July 11th or 12th, 2007 with "Knickpoint".

recorded in six days in december 2007.

all instrumentation, drum programming, and production by me.
field recording on "The Streets Cry Out in Prayer" from freesound.
This is, roughly, a split EP with myself. In an effort to get in a mood to write things for my upcoming split with a friend of mine I decided to mess around and write in a style I had never done before, hoping that it would inspire me or give me ideas as to what to do with I, Mountain. I created CAMPBELL MELLIS DOUGLAS - a dark ambient/soft noise project - and as luck would have it it did inspire me to write for I, Mountain. I decided to bundle the results together as a split EP with myself. All of this was thrown together in about a week in December.
