Awesome Bro

I tried to incorporate the logo with the text so that they have both alternatives in the same image. I can make any changes you want in the .PSD if this is what you're looking for:

lol defo on the right lines. it seems to be really improving with everyones posts. things i would change about stevos is not alot at all really. make the orange a little brighter, make a smaller version (like calibers) as well as keeping the big ones. and think og a way of making the "C" bigger without making it look strange :D

great work :D

version 5 and 6... im just a little worried that the plants will be out of place. but i like the way that you used up more space... i cannot think really. if you did a version that was 400x600 then i think a person sitting on the "C" in the style of the hiker would be cool. :D

i knida think i would like to change the orange color on the site to more match your logo. it seems very narural and not to bright.

Pantone Colors can be good, and evil. I remember using them for printed CG work, however, they "can" look rather dull on screen, which is somewhat why I don't use them, gotta find that happy medium for colors that is good for web and print.

Anyways, I have 2 more entries:

I've done a mock with the sitting hiker for you, but I'm a little confused about the dimension you want it. Did you mean 600x400? Because the height seems a little too much when it's reversed.

http://www.lenshaw.com/mocks/tlcsmallwhite.jpg[/img]

the dimensions for these are 400x288 as the rest up above seemed kind of redundant. Let me know :)

Pretty much any brand in the world these days in developed using a pantone, through my degree we were allowed to use nothing else for branding studies so I've just stuck with it.  The fact I'm using a gradient with two pantone bases completely eradicates the point of using them in the first place but oh well. :P

Do you prefer this variation?

Also I've kinda quickly mocked up how it goes with the site you gave: I thought some sort of slogan would fit in well with the space below.

wow i like all the peoples work. I did mean a tall logo stevo but that one you did is great. i was thinking more like someone sat on the "c" with his legs hanging off and like hes playing a computer. (or a she i think would loook better.)

or a girl leaning against the L sat on the C kinda like this
http://kotaku.com/assets/resources/2007 ... e_girl.jpg[/img] i think a wire would be good as it will make it more clear what shes holding

haha that one really made me smile. :D

im really getting caught between caliber and stevos at the moment. and love the little character on Axeraxs so i will need to post them all over on our forum soon to see what the team think :D

i do have a problem with yours caliber being that i dont know how it would feel in the middle of a page.
it seems to be designed for a fullscreen kinda thing. with no boreder and not very defined edges.

No, it was designed as a logo for all uses... I was just trying to get away from any form of border because they are amateurish and it's more stylish in my opinion to go right to the edge but if you want it to be separated with a defined margin I'd just stick a white stroke round it the same thickness as is round the text.

I've just had a few beers in my garden and watched Lee Evans live on stage. I'll post some updates tomorrow when I get a chance.

Take care,

I think you've got something great with that palm tree there Calibre, it really makes it a unique logo.

And now for something completely different:

Go with Illustrator and raster, its the wave of the future.

no i dident but i do like what you have done. as things are the team are stuck over yours and stevos so i dont know how things are going to pan out. they also really like mascarpones but im trying to stay out of it. i like all the logos. and i do also have my favs but that would not be very nice of me to mention them out at this stage.

also to check them all out next to each other heres a link to our forum page over at the new community.

I hope it was ok to include that link.

Also we are allowing registrations and people to post. but dont expect many people to join before the launch. im only interested in people joining that are willing to help us set the site and forums up. the forum template we are also looking for help with thats why it loooks a little messy.

I'm sticking around here for an hour or so, so if you're on let me know.

lol. im really liking them. i would like the girl on more if she had leg :S lol

one thing i would like to see with yours stevo is maybe making the backgrounds translucent so we can use it on patterns and on images.

I was thinking what would it be like with a few people around the logo. cause with that idea of the simple lines. its almost as if we could add the little people all the time. to fit the occasion like a pumbkin on halloween, or a santa hat at xmas.

also i was looking around your site stevo. its looking really good. you defo have some skills :)
p.s i used to work in tescos at leyland.
