I loved Neku from the beginning all the way to the end and every change in between. I used to think a lot like him but I've been more like endgame Neku lately so it felt like watching myself change just as he did. I keep remembering the ending banner: "The World Begins With You".

I didn't play the new chapter yet, I'm gonna get a perfect on it (owning every item/pin, getting high level, all reports).

He started choking Shiki. I mean, when you think about it, the reason he did it is actually pretty realistic. But it still made me wanna smack Neku upside the head

Do the clothes you buy actually change your appearance? I just got to Mission 3 (the one with 777) and found the shops but can't afford anything yet.

Also, this game reminds me a fair bit of Rivercity Ransom (the way shops/food work) so that's awesome.

They only affect your stats. Though you dunno how cool it would have been to see Neku in a lolita outfit...ok, I lied, that'd be too creepy.

I had him in that outfit the ENTIRE last part of the game. It rocked.

When they make a sequal, (they HAVE to...) they need to include wifi and coop play. But with a completely new main character, because

ass for the first half of the game. But I love when in Shiki, Day 3 you go into the store where nothing's for sale and the guy's like "But you two make a good couple" or something like that, and when you reunite with her and she freaks out over being your entry fee.

Anyways, this game is great. 9.5/10. I'm sad I missed some stuff, but there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on going till you run out of cake.

man... this game is so boring.  it's like there's nothing to do but fight monsters and the story isn't at all interesting enough to hold my attention.  I'm 5 hours in and I'm about 75% finished WTF?

@marcus: Believe me, you are nowhere near done. If you mean you're on Shiki, Day 5, then think again. Otherwise, remember you need to get every pin both normal and mastered!

There's no way with 5 hours you're 75% in. Shiki's chapter takes longer than that, easily. As with what Demos said, if you're on Shiki Day 5 you are nowhere near done.

No I'm on Joshua's chapter but I didn't realize that Beat had a chapter too.

Pretty dumb way to extend playtime but whatever.  These characters are totally boring and uninteresting.  I don't think any writer in Squenix can come up with a character that isn't a stereotype.

Lots of pointless features in this game too.  I think the game actually gives you experience for every hour you don't play it.

They et much better as the game goes on. Have you tried talking to Joshua at various points? Neku says "Must...resist...emo...urges..." which is amazing.

The thing is, they're purposely stereo-types, and it's explained why at the end of the game. The secret chapter also reveals this, since Neku has to resist "Emo...urges...", and whatnot. That said, I did think that Neku having to play the game three times was a bit much, I mean, I guess it's the only way to explain it, but still.

Also, it's even more fun afterwards because you can replay the game to get to certain points as well as play as any of the 3 partners.

I finished the game this morning (got it last monday).
Im sorry, but its one of my favorite games of all time now.
I loved the characters and the writing. The only bad thing about it is the fact that playing in the same places over and over gets a bit boring.

I'm replaying that chapter over and over again JUST so I can see that part...although it would probably be easier to save in front of it, I AM still getting reports.

I absolutley adore this game. It's totally hooked me for the past 2 weeks or so. The main game wasn't so hard to beat, but now I'm burning hours customising my pinset and clothing. I have a thing for games with high-customisation aspects. Increases the longevity 10-fold.

The extra missions you have to perform are pretty brutal at times (Fighting all the bosses again on hard. Sounds feasible, until you get to the midgame ones, and start dieing horribly), but it's all solved with a good choice of partner, and a little strategy. Lightning Pawn and Splishy-Splash Barrier have got me out of so many premature deaths.

Oh, and Jupiter of the Monkey is top-tier. No arguments.

Seriously...? This game is horrible. The art is lacking any sort of good taste, it's annoying as hell to play this. I can't believe this is what Square/Enix are reduced to, but of course it seems to happen to a lot of companies that get too big for their own good.
