Well, the look is pretty good. You'll have to keep buildings in a similar style in order to maintain consistency, but as Rye stated overall it's a relatively good tileset addition.

Nice looking screens, Neonyo :) Can't wait to play the full game.

Now for a screenshot of Tropicana's battle system. It's a cross between events and scripts. It has an event core and script windows. The event itself is far from being done, but it looks pretty damn good so far, imo. A neat little feature about the system is that it doesn't use hard-coded values for enemies or their actions. It reads the database's Enemy and Troop tabs to get enemy stats and action patterns.

Please ignore the Aluxes/Arshes sprite. It's only for testing purposes. Also, I've changed my sprite template. A big thanks to Despain for spriting it up for me.

@ Zerostar - It is mapped pefectly well but I don't like your tint. It looks like the forest is suffering from some sort of biological radiation.

@ The Man - i dont think that clump of rocks works well as a lump... they tile well in all sorts of large shapes, they can only be put into lumps where humans would do that

Yes, Zerostar, calibre has a point, i think a fog, or somekind of that would resolve that problem...and look above the entrance of the cave, i think you should remove that grass bove the rock's

I just thought "the man"... that map needs the long grass autotile... it works wonders with grassland maps... at the end of the day, flat green doesnt really look like grass in the wilderness.

You also need more vegetation. If the area is floral, I really doubt it would grow in one massive cluster. If they are growing, surely the soil is goos so other various organisms would be growing nearby.

The cliff edge along the left hand side is perfectly straight all the way down, which is unreleastic.

Maybe try adding some wildlife in too. I always have butterflies just to inject a bit of movement - and hence life into the map.

It's hard to explain, but I always try and say to inject some personality into the map by having some passion for the map and think of using the rtp tiles in ways that other people havent. neorpgmaniak is a perfect example of this. He takes the rtp, adds his own bits and bobs from tielsets [that fit well enough] and the maps are distinctively his, just by using mainly rtp.

Looks good, the graphics fit well with the size of the screen.

The res script is a bit mashed, the numbers you put in don't match the size it makes it, I found I had to experiment with different numbers to get the right size :)

@ Calibre: Thank you. You've just helped to breathe life into my project with you're suggestions. Apparently I have no problems mapping caves and stuff, but when it comes to mapping outside I'm very new.
