New Lost Fantasy world map.

!NEW STUFF!
-More stuff finished than the last time I posted this
-Ships and cliffs now have SHADOWS
-New cliff type and also new floor colours (just small edits really...)

Notes:

These graphics are all 100% custom made... In paint.
This is for an online RMXP MMORPG game called "Lost Fantasy".
Elder Woods does not look much like a woods as it is very small, but it is going to be extended far out to the East of this map in the near future, probably the next thing I will do after making some more tree types (Oaks, evergreens, willows, etc)
Port Valen looks very small, in fact it is just a hut and a ship... But after extending Elder Woods, I will work more on Port Valen. It will be mainly based on decking and piers stretching out to sea, and there will be a few more boats.

Updated the Lost Fantasy world map.

WHAT'S NEW!:
-Finished Port Valen
-New boat type
-Lake Krystal area

The Lake Krystal area on that map is going to be the area of land that the Fisherman's Guild will be build on. It will be fenced off to all those with a fishing level below 15.

The Lady Susan will take players to new areas to the East which are yet to be made.

The smaller boat in port Valen will take players to a fishing mini-game which is coming later on.

Port Valen now has the first non-guild-only bank, and also a pet store which sells everything from the store in the pets menu, plus other pet items unique to the Port Valen region.

The two farms are to be used in the "Feud" quest.

Psgels...you're losing it man. You taught me how to map basically, and now you're falling off. *gasp* What does that mean for me!?

Hehe, unfortunately, I haven't been mapping too often. I think I lost my touch because of this. ^^;

Copy-pasting the link doesn't seem to work, either.

It might be related to this:

10. I am trying to access my image, but I get redirected to the front page. What is happening?

Justin fights you because Andrew, then one at the bottom with blonde hair, stole his biscuit.
After the fight, it asks you if you want Andrew to join your party, when you say yes he joins your party, but when you say no he joins your party.

calibrating a monitor is just one thing. this IS really dark. I've had to select the picture to aee anything :]
the scene is quite simple and the lighting seems a bit strange to me. but I'd like to see it in game anyway :)

If you know ahead of time that it is going to appear too dark for many people, maybe it is not a problem caused on their end.

'Wiseguy' is exactly how a message stating "It's actually okay, please adjust your incorrectly set monitor to view my picture." strikes me.

My monitor is calibrated, I can recalibrate it all you think, but at the end of the day, who cares. The fact is its very dark, most people won't play a game thats that dark, especially when the crteator actsd like you do.

Also, I know from experiance some monitors are naturally darker/lighter. Even when calibrated correctly.

Bit overall, I'd say the table looks out of place with the sofa. Its like you've tried too hard on the table and left the sofa quite cartoony.

@MYO

That's pretty cool. I like how it's not setup all perfect; the table's shifted slighty. It adds to the realism of being in a train. Nice couch too!

I do not think it is too dark, and it is very well drawn! But I do think the back of the couch should be deeper so that the top of it doesn't appear as such a small grey line. It would give it more contrast against the wall.

This is the characters' cabin in the LV-train, from near the start of the game. Indeed, it does not resemble a train, however this is because of the length of the journeys, which regularly take in excess of a whole day. The rooms resemble more small lounges than train cabins. For those who are wondering, the table has a cup kocked over on it, and a pile of magazines.

Probably the final image from Au Courant that I'll show until a bit of progress has been made. If its too dark, by the way, you really should re-calibrate your monitor, there are plenty of sites for it online.

interesting, it is also dark for me.

anyways;
I like the graphic style. I'll PM you for more :P
