Well, heres an update. Added a bit to the tileset, and I suppose this is a much better map to show off than the last.

The map is very nice Flamerfox,my only complain would be that it doesn't lively at all,it's too uniform, too clean, too perfect a little like a buisness district.

Well, at the moment Im still working on extras, such as tents and stalls, along with posters both on the walls or on the floor. And just so you know, it actually is a business district.

@Flamerfox: I love the way that city looks. Just something about it...
@Selwyn: That's just pure win. Incredible.

Well I've been working on an Egyptian tileset for a game me and my friends are working on. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about it.

It's not done yet btw.

Any comments are welcome.

Edit: Ignore the character. He's not even in the game.

Thats is a pretty good tileset Balore, i like it

Although the tombs are a little similar and if you look at most egyptian tombs they are different completley and relate to the spirit inside its life, maybe do a couple more styles however im not slating your work it really is exceptional

@Squall
That's pretty nice. The different approach to Tetris Attack. It's actually, quite interesting. I'd love to give it a play, but how do you umm lose?

It'd probally be a time thing, get to a certain stage before the timer runs out or its game over, right? Like ZooKeeper.

Haven't posted here in a while. Here is a WIP screen for Tropicana's CMS.

You can have up to three party members in your party at one time, Harrold being a constant member. The menu also uses facesets, which is why there is a blank area next to the names. Inventory space limits the amount of items, weapons and armor that you can hold at one time, though a few items and one or two weapons take up only one inventory slot(ammo, throwing knives, etc.)

Edit: Screen of the newly scripted Item menu.

As you can see, the number in the Gold/Inventory window matches with the number of item slots taken up. Some items only take up one slot, like the small bandages, while others take up a whole slot each.

@hydrolic : yeah it's what you suggested but I don't think this is going to be my secret santa gift. (I have a bunch load of scripts so I can pick one of them)

@jstreet : actually you lose when the blocks reach the top of the window. Since I just started to make this it is not working yet. To test if the thing works correctly, I just filled the window with blocks. But they can already be cleared when assembled.

However, I have to say that I'm a bit dissapointed about the sprite angle method. The dots are a bit fucked up in the corners.

Berserker, that tileset looks great! Although maybe you'd be better off making a thread in Resource Analysis so you can get more feedback on it. That is, if you haven't already.

Ask Sephiroth or Wachunga about it but Seph made a nice bitmap rotate method for 90' angles that would make your tiles look much better.
