im now trying to map the ship upstairs, on the deck,
but i really hate that tileset T_T i just wont succeed

Anyone can recommend me a better widescreen effect script?
 
Wow, its interesting to see that a Screen without dimmed colors has such an atmosphere. The only thing that looks a bit weird is the desert plant from the desert tileset you put in the garden - it looks somehow wrong in this place, i think of other climates when i see such plants.

Here are some screens from my Project Sanadorae - a dark winter tale. Hopefully, I can post an english presentation in a few weaks (its a german project - thats also the reason why my englisch may sound strange XD sorry)

Dandre - the town was almost completly destroyed (if you wondered where the water on the ground comes from: its melted snow)

That's some serious mapping skills you ahve there. And pixel work, too. That is original spriting in that last screenshot is it? It's epic!
 
Well, its some kind of "take something here, take something there". Almost all parts (except for the snow - you cant get any good RTP snow to cover things >__<) are taken from VX and Xp and thrown together somehow... then some recouloring here, some cuts there, put it all together in a different way - tada, there it is. The corpes of the ripped Tilesets are crieing to me... or anything like that.

But it takes its time, thats right (and i cant count the hours it took me to create good snow autotiles *argl*).

*gets an ambulance* nooo, dont die - you are my first critic in this forum ;__; it cant end like this!
 
Your atmosphere is amazing. I love how the first and last maps contrast; despite them both being snow towns, they have completely different moods. The smoke and fire are nicely done, did you make them? You might want to consider removing the RTP fire though, they clash with the realistic flames.

Your custom tiles are great as well, the snow sprites look very nice. Mapping is nice as well, although I caught one problem, a cliff tile is missing at the base of the left tree in the last pic.
 
Now that you mention it - maybe you're right and i should remove some of the RTP-Fires , they also take much performance because there is so much of them in this map. And thank you for the report, i fixed the missing tile immidiatly. The smoke and fire are a free ressources i took from a ressource portal, if anybody wants to get it, send me a message.
 
I really love you're icetile on the last map, in the right corner. Never seen before. Also you're snow, really great.
But I don't understand you're bridge on the second screen, I think you're bridge is too short, make it one tile longer on the right side. No the bridge is flying on the right, isn't?

I know the bridge looks wrong at first sight, but actually its sliding out of the cliff when the puzzles in the cave are solved, so this is the way it should be ;)

Hm, as I remember on this screen i took the standart effect (even tough i use ccoas wonderful weather script for some maps)

also that wall looks more like it's a fence on even ground than it does a sheer cliff.

why are you even making a kingdom hearts fangame the gameplay isn't anything really unique and the story and characters are probably the worst things ever
