I'm currently making a movie with rpg maker, specifically to remake the entire Daft Punk Concert and plus some. Its really just kinda like an interactive video. Either way, I used some of the graphics I made for it to make some fake screenshots. oh, and the pixels are supposed to be freaking huge.

I don't listen to daft punk but this is some pretty trippy sprite work.

Sorry I don't have anything more constructive 'cept that fog in the last post is hideous-LOL But, super dope location, man! I get a nice feel from it. A good location makes me want to explore and enjoy it even if everything else is boring... This is doing that for me. Nice one!

Ok i get it... they went with the old old school look.... but a few diagonal walls now and then doesn't hurt

There's something a little odd about the border where they connect with the roof (it seems darker then the same place on the straight walls,) but they look very good. You're right, any given RM needs diagonal walls. : P

You should submit a bunch of them as resources, seriously sprite expressions for VX would rock.

Thanks, I'm really flattered by that comment. I just grabbed a random fog from RMXP for that screen, the location doesn't use any fogs (not until I get them working like they were in XP anyway).

And I'd still like to know where you find the time to make so much pretty art, work on the battle system and the rest of the game =(

I simply used the AMS script it allows you to have different skins for the names and messages.

She's pretty hard actually.
What do youse think of the battle system? Would you all prefer a set background (which can be achieved with a script) or the custom "twirly" one?

I would prefer have a normal background instead of the twirly effect, I've never liked that.

WIP. The world of my game. Each continent will have a ton of locations to explore, many of them optional. Planning to add some more islands and ocean decorations. Expect an actual thread for my project in the near future. Mainly just posted this to showcase the VX rtp world map tileset in use.
