Azazeal, (yes i ctrl+c that) it looks okay, but the 'dash/jump' keys, which are just a letter in a circle, would look better if they where small sprites that look like keyboard keys. =D

Re. your image:  It's... interesting.  I like the health bar, although it looks rather grainy.  Might want to smooth that out a little, 'cause it looks rather ugly like that.  Other than that and what was previously mentioned, it looks nice.
 
I think it looks nice.
Even though the map is unfinished, I have to say the windows on the houses look wonky like that, the mailboxes should probably be in front of the house facing the street, and it looks kind of... wierd, like the grass is growing out of the stone tiling instead of the tiling being put over the grass. The grass should also be poking up over the various structues, like the houses, and the arch, and the huge wall at the bottom...

Basically, what I'm saying is that the grass makes the bottom of the buildings and wall look too flat s:

BOSS BATTLE!  This guy has a gimmick.  Whenever his turn comes up, he has a chance to use a massive ice attack that at first hits the entire back row, and then every time after, it moves one row closer and hits all the previous rows too.  So, you can try and take him out in 6 or so turns, or use up some of your own turns to press forward to get more ground and move farther to the right to delay the attack from reaching your guys.  The colored squares are spots that are enchanted wih some element.  If you're standing in one, and you get hit by an attack with the same element, it does double damage.  If it's the opposite element, it does half damage.

And, the prerequisite text-based stealth segment.  You can't lose, so it's more of a bonus round - but you can do a pretty good job of looking like a fool.

I wish you (and so many other people) would frigging STOP putting a thousand windows on your buildings.  It looks hideous and stupid.  Space them out a bit!  Add some variety!

I like the tileset btw.  Err the recolor, rather.  Well it's good either way, right?

Glad you like it.  I created the characters and the system/interface; the tilesets were cobbled together and modified to fit the "look," so most of them are RTP mods.  My sig links to the project thread, with a playable demo (all of those screens are from demo areas, too.)
