You don't necessarily have to MAKE your own, but you should look for things that can fit your vision rather than just saying "i wnt somethin kewl lol".
 
Let's stay on topic, people. If you want tilesets, you can go to the resource requests forum. ;)

Anyway, Impreza: I can see that you placed a number of the same objects right next to each other. This kindof bring symmetry into nature, which isn't a good thing. I'm also not sure whether you chose the right style of bridge. It seems that this map is in some road somewhere, where few people come. The bridge looks a bit too shiny for this, but that could be me as well.

New screenshot, it's sort of a... tester screenshot to see how this works. I got rid of the window back from the equipment and the skills windows. I also made it so that you can click on the skills window or the equipment to open their respective menu scenes, so the "menu" box can be smaller as it needs less options.

HP and MP bars are temporary. The face is also temporary, it was the first one I found. Parts of the Hud are still "mock-upped" because I haven't found any help with my Hud in script requests (well, Darklord said he was gonna try it but he's disappeared).

The quest text where it cuts off is also temporary, I will fix it soon.

Oh and Photofuckit resized it.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - Skill hotkeys
F8 - hold down for quest window
F9 - hold down for "hero" window
F5 - opens the chat window (which I need to re-edit for the new system)
Left mouse - For clicking things
Right mouse - Also for clicking things
Enter - For doing stuff (default)
Arrows - For moving the player and/or the cursor
F7 - Private chat

I did go there, And still am. Although, All that the tileset above has is an outline over the originally sprited RTP. Mine is entirely re-drawn, coloured and shaded.

I've actually been working on the ship over the past day or so, and upto now i have this:

It's about 60% done. I need to finalise a lot of the textures ( especially the wood ).

@stevo: The boards and jars look... well, like shit, but the rest of the set looks flawless... keep up the good work :D

@JD: The ground looks off, but the objects look really geniously... Well, you just applied a 1pt border around them, didn't ya? ^_^ Awesome work.
 
@Stevo, as usual, your work is great.

@Bluescope- Thanks man, yeah I applied a one pixel border around everything... not too sure if I'll keep doing the tilesets like that... they look alright just recolored I've learned.... I'll surely update here with any progress I make!

This is Confel Base. Its a military training ground for the Trivium army. It is a key representation of the militarian rule that Trivium has over its people. The families of the soldiers are forced to live here, in poorly built and stench ridden homes.

Excuse the huge file size, I insist on my map screenshots to be taken from ingame to avoid any 'sry its small, and all the details are eventz so yaknow 8-)'. You get exactly what you see.
 
Cool. I like that Prex.

The only thing I see wrong (at least at this point) is the trees near walls that overlap...the RTP trees are generally not large trees (unless you use the large one) so when that happens it portrays the wall as a very short wall..which I don't think it is.

Anyways..just an idea. :)
 
Good call, i'll shift em over a bit.

They're events so I didn't realize it until I went to play it... you shoulda seen all the problems with the trees I already fixed :)
 
Right on! I only noticed it because I had a similar (had or have can't remember) map that had the same issue.

You're mappings much improved (Though you've already been told that many times)
