Anyone here think sylars powers will return? I think he will get different ones, but not his old ones. The way he lost his powers may give insight into how to "Disable" the heroes powers, which in turn, could lead to adam's death, possibly claires.

i'm kind of hoping he doesn't cause it got a little old last season. he will get some powers back, but no matter what he won't kill claire ever. if anything he will be the one who dies (like he should have las season).

Man with this last episode the Sylar/Maya storyline actually got slightly INTERESTING and didn't feel like horrible filler.

I wish they'd revived HRG after the mourning scene where Claire spread the ashes though. It kinda made the scene mostly pointless.

I think the scene was more about Claire than about Noah. Moreso than the loss of her father, it had to do with her dealing with a LOT MORE--scattering the ashes represented her way of trying to let go of all the shit that's gone down.

Until Elle fucked it up and now Claire will have a stupid little "lol reveal myself on tv" storyline. I never thought I'd say it but at this point I'm much more interested in pretty much everybody rather than Claire.

Also what happened to Matt? He was absent for a while now and right after he started developing his powers into something AMAZING. He'll probably show up at home in the next episode and be like "eehhhh sylar what's crackalackin".

i am amazed next week is the finale (i know the strike effed that up). i just don't know how they can fit all of the bits of story into one hour. it will probably fill rushed.

i agree with you venetia about hrg's reveal. would of made more sense to do it later. add the fact that he jumps back in their lives next week makes you wonder why they killed him at all.

i was wondering where matt was also. his story is one of the better ones this season. i care nothing for mimic girl. why waste time with that?

Does he? I don't watch the previews. I expected that he would be gone for a long time and he'd show back up some time late in season three (or at the end of the originally-planned season two) and be like HO SHITT I FORGOT ABOUT HIM.

She's interesting in the sense that she's actually taking the SUPER HERO route rather than "random chick with powers" like everybody else. It's the show's way of exploring the more conventional superHEROES ideas. Unfortunately, the show doesn't do a really great job of it. It's too slow in getting there, etc. She also doesn't really have the right power for the role of the superhero thing.

I think that Heroes has great story arcs and characters and everything, but the individual writing for the episodes is actually pretty poor.

He paralyzed Sylar in the Season One Finale [that was the kill point for me, Sylar had just stopped bullets in mid air, but he couldn't stop Hiro from running at him with a sword? Lame]. And apparently he has paralyzed Peter in the same way.

Even if Peter was hesitating because he knows Hiro, there are ways to knock someone out without killing them. Especially with Peter's wide array of powers at the moment.

I'm seriously thinking that their going to tease us with a fake fight. Have Hiro run at Peter at the end of the episode, then at the beginning of the episode have Hiro get sent flying. No fight at all.

I'm rather annoyed at this no fighting thing this show has. It's a show about people with powers, but there's only like two bad guys and a corrupt company. The rest are Good guys [so to speak]. People should be fighting. You can still have character development, but a smackdown was teased at and hinted at all season long last year and nothing [I mean NOTHING!] happened last year.


Just IMHO.

not really a paralyzing power. he stops time and can basically stop individual people in time as well.

I know what his powers are.... In the Season Finale last year, he didn't use his power since everyone was still moving.

In the end of last episode he did stop time, but since Peter is immune to Hiro's freezing time that argument doesn't hold up.


I was being sarcastic about the third power. It just seems like everytime he screams and runs at people with a sword in his hands, the person he's running at stops and allows him to stab them.

It's just rather weak.

It felt a little rushed but I'm pleased with the result, considering they had to lump like 9? episodes into one.

Venetia, the end wasn't rushed as much as you might think. The episode was mostly written that way and they just left it there because it was a good enough place to end the season. There were just some minor additions to make it wrap things up abit better.

They avoided the fight again. Yay. Let's all TALK through our problems.

not really (if people can be so easily brought back to life it's hard to give a shit at all if characters die)

also FINALLY nikki is gone. i doubt they'll bring her back because her character just SUCKS and they have to know it by now. maybe now Micah can actually become a cool potential character without shitty side characters holding him back. Oh wait...Monica.

Adam needs to come back. I usualy always hate it when characters come back for no reason but Adam REALLY needs to come back. He's probably the only smart character on the entire fucking show.

I love it when characters meet each other. Hiro's "FLYING MAN" thing is always awesome. There needs to be more of that shit.

Also what about Peter's girlfriend abandoned in the future? Hopefully they just leave her there. :|

And SYLAR man he is fucking rad. He needs to actually DO SHIT with his powers now though. Hopefully the title "VILLAINS" will bring with it something badass enough to be worthy. This season was a bit disappointing.

Season ended early because of the writer's strike, kip. That's it until season 3 (unless they manage to pull off a subseason if the strike ends or something but that's not very probable).

PEople shoul read the webcomics if they haven't been. They're pretty rad.

but honestly the funny thing is, ever since that show got big, I've had random people coming up to me and telling me that I look like Hiro Nakamura. It gets to the point where i've actually had people calling out Masi!!! or HIRO!!!!!! and asking me for a picture and an autograph until I tell them that i'm not him..
