I know exactly what you mean. Although it seemed more like SHE left him, which I base pretty much solely on his personality- I mean he's the kind of guy who wanted to get back with her even after she cheated on him. It's also realistic to think that if he DID leave her, he was thinking of the child's best interests. Rather than abandoning his new son, he's a cop with superpowers and he knows that that sort of thing could seriously endanger him and his family.
I think it will all be explained in time according to an interview with the creators and cast in Wizard we will have another flashback episode like Sixth Months Ago that will cover the Fourth Month gap. And the actor who plays Parkman made a cryptic statement about "hearing the unborn child's thoughts."

I am seriously sick of Hiro in Feudal japan. His story is the Niki story from last season. I have not been too excited with this season so far, I hope it picks up. The first season ended with a whimper. I think they have too many storylines going for their own good.

YES. 100% agreed. Hiro was one of the best storylines in the first season, and in their attempts to focus on the popularity of his character, they totally ruined it.

Really, so far this season has nothing going for it except for the Matt/Nathan vs. DREAM MAN storyline.

Also supposedly Heroes: Origins is likely to be cancelled.

I still like Hiro, but
his story is petering out a little. I wish they'd gone in the direction I was thinking of and made Hiro do all of Kensei's deeds. I'm kinda un-enthused by the fact that Kensei is exactly like Claire in ability.

Also, Peter's new girlfriend is very not-hot. Her accent is kinda cute, but she's a big step down from Simone IMO. She's a decent actress, though.

I kinda like that the new chick ... The one who works at the burger joint, can't recall the name ... is a mimic, but her accent is really forced. I wince when she talks.

Anyone else think Mohinder is being a little too lackadaisical and trusting for his character?

Also does anyone HATE Claire's new boyfriend as much as I do? He's a douche!!!

I love the Haitian though, anyone read the comics involving his past? Best ones, I think.

I hope the series starts to focus on the dream man more and starts meshing tangents together, because yeah, all they feel like right now are tangents.

Yes, Heroes: Origins is cancelled due to the writers strike. Kind of a shame, some good name directors were gonna do them.

I am not so mad about Kensei having those powers, but Hiro should have just fixed what he effed up and came back to the present. Hopefully, that will end soon.

Peter losing his memory was kind of dumb IMO. I am not too thrilled with all of that and I am sure there will be a convenient storyline later that will make it even more annoying. Also, yes, his new girl is not hot and has a big forehead.

YES!!!!!

KENSEI IS ADAM!!! I KNEW IT!!!!!

Well I mean I thought Kensei was the one who killed Kaito Nakamura. I mean, look at the symbols.

Who knew a kiss would affect so much?!

I THOUGHT the ones with regenerative powers'd live forever! I mean, think about it: age is an assault on the cells. They'd repair them. So they wouldn't age.

Nice that Claire's always gonna look 16. Good thing she didn't get the powers at 60 :'X

Dammit Janet, this might be the last epp for a while, with that writer's strike. Damn NBC and their stingyness.

I was actually a bit surprised by Kensei being Adam, but it was really cool. I was wondering about his regenerative powers when the tent blew up.

Most of these episodes have already been filmed, so we should see no interrupt for some time. The only thing cancelled was the Origins show.

We've been expecting that Kensei would show up again in the modern timeline, so it wasn't a great surprise that he appeared. It was nice, though, that he knows Peter- everything's finally getting tied together, and now that Mohinder is after Claire...Storylines are converging, and that's when the show gets good.

Finally Hiro's storyline actually matters. Although now we can see that it was just a glorified seven-episode introduction of the villain.

And Matt and Noah have been fighting over who's my favorite character- after this episode Matt definitely- and deservingly- takes the stop.

Dude, put your info in a spoiler. We are trying to make sure people who miss episodes don't read too much that they don't want to see...

There's a spoiler warning in the topic title so we can talk freely about this sort of thing. If people don't want to be spoiled they can very easily avoid the topic. I didn't catch the episode last night and managed to avoid the topic until I watched it today- I'm usre that others will be able to display the same phenomenal willpower.

Wow, you're so cool. Don't follow what everyone is doing then. Just makes it a little better for people who missed the "Spoiler" part, you know?. Christ.

Anyway, Venetia, I just read that there will be at least 11 total episodes if the strike doesn't end soon. Tim Kring has written a special ending to the 11th episode just in case.

The thread title says spoilers... Because there are spoilers all over this topic in earlier pages without spoilers. It's his call to use them or not because the topic title says what it does.

I mean, I know this topic contains spoilers, and I look at it anyways. Mainly because I don't really care about Heroes and I need to read everything anyways.

Aw, I thought it was kinda fun writing [ spoiler ] everywhere XD

@jbart - I actually just read an interview with Tim Kring where he said that, and he seems to want to address his audiences' complaints with Season 2, specifically, the romance thing: there'll be less. That's a relief to me … Claire and Hiro both seemed to fall head-over-heels for their respective "interests" way too quickly, and they got sloppy from it, which is annoying.

@SB
Mohinder isn't dumb … I can only assume he agreed to go after Noah as a facade. But he's been pretty sloppy, too (using a private cell phone IN the building you're being a double-agent for?! Shit! That's either extreme balls or extreme idiocy.) Alright maybe I take back the "isn't dumb" thing.

I never really liked Matt, mostly because of that cheesy effect they use when he "telepathizes". Alright, that's the editor's fault, not Parkman's, but it still somehow affects my "connection" with his character.

My favorite is a tie between Noah (especially after shooting his mentor) and Nathan (mostly because of last season … He was such an asshole but then turned out to be the biggest hero of them all).

I'm anxious to find out more about that Adam guy. Maybe he has a power like Peter since he was able to heal plus travel through time.

I actually like Matt. I enjoy the fact that his power is beyond "reading minds".

There has been to much romance. Claire, Hiro, Peter...

While Adam = Kensei was kind of predictable, I still love it. Especially the part where he just blocks Peter's lightning like nothing.

I don't think he traveled in time. I'm assuming that instant regeneration = immorality or his power is immortality altogether.

So I watched the ninth episode today. Nothing special, a few fairly epic bits I guess. I really saw the whole Kensei being the killer thing coming. I was pretty gutted when I thought they were killing off Bennet, but as I guessed closer to the time they were going to use the blood to revive him. By Bob's orders I'm sure, he seemed almost sad about Bennets death. I'm enjoying seeing how the new allies and foes are shaping up.

They're doing an excellent job making sure the viewer doesn't know where anyone stands.

Did Bob save Bennett? Did he do it in good will, or exploit him? Is Adam evil or just pursuing his own ends? Or is he working for someone? Has Mohinder really lost his way, or did he have something to do with reviving Bennett (remember where Bennett woke up--it wasn't a nice, clean lab. It was a dirty broom closet with a quick IV rig)? Is Matt turning into his father? Why is Mama Petrelli trying to protect that woman, is it a deeper reason than just a pact she made long ago? Could she have hired Kensei? Was she even telling the truth to Parkman? She'd known his father--she may be able to dissuade that kind of power by now. Has Elle turned on the Company or is she still loyal (she seemed pretty ticked in the car)?

Whee, I just wish the season coulda run its course. I wonder what's changing with the Dec. 3rd episode that differs from the directions they initially wanted to take before the strike?

i was happy to see that bennett wasn't dead cause he is the best character on the show. lots of questions and it will be a shame that we won't have many answered for a long time.

i think bennett will be used by the company. who knows how, but i am sure it will have something to do with the protection of his daughter. (who's ashes is she spreading if hes not dead?)

the show was starting to wear on me but this last episode gave me a little hope that the rest of the season won't suck.
