The HEROES Thread *Spoilers*

Anyone else here watch that show? The second season just started back up on NBC. Monday nights at 9pm. I don't know if it airs outside America, but I think so.

I have to say, I've never been more impressed with a network show, nor have I ever been so in-suspense to see the next one. Every time I guess on a plot point they floor me with something completely unexpected. Plus, it's nonstop action and plot, no filler.

If anyone saw this last episode (I won't give anything away, in case you haven't), post your ideas about the next episode (in spoilers)!!!

I think that Hiro is going to take the English dude's place and become the savior of medieval Japan!

I also think that the super main bad guy can morph into a cockroach. Remember the speech about how superior cockroaches are at the very beginning of the first season and how there was a cockroach ambling about at the very end of the first season?? I have more on that but I wanna hear more theories on it from you guys :'D

BTW if you hate the show, save me a troll and just don't post; reading "That show sucks lol" is sorta annoying.

I live in england and usually we get it either at the same time or just after, anyway I love the show, but missed the last two episodes of the first season.

I like the way they are normal people if you know what i mean they are not overly confident, which is a really nice addition to the show, only wish i didn't miss the last two episodes.

They probably were but do you think are important to watch before the second starts, incase I missed anything like if anyone dies or something like that?

Nobody important dies.

The only thing that'll confuse you if you didn't see those epps are how Hiro is in feudal Japan and the Molly character may not be fleshed out for you.

I'd recommend you find them on Google video or something, if you wanna keep up-to-date on the storyline, but mostly just for that last episode since they kinda summed up a couple characters' stories.

@Serenade: Gyar... here in the UK we're only on ep' 10 of series one. Meh, knew anyway. My ICT teacher tells everyone who watches any program everything that happens in it.

I watch it every wednesday, it's pretty good. We get no ads as it's BBC, which is great. Great storyline, and I feel weird saying this as a guy but Hiro is too cute. (OK I'm officially dead. ':|)

My ICT teacher reckons I only watch it because of Niki.

With a show that keeps you guessing I think that it maybe too predictable for Hiro to take the English guy's place but rumors I read in Wizard place the sword smith's daughter as a love interest for Hiro so it may happen.

The new bad guy morphing into a cockroach. That would be an interesting thing. He could easily sneak out of a situation unnoticed. And should Molly finally use her powers to pinpoint him, they could arrive and not find him because he is hiding in plain site.

I want to say Five Years Gone Episode 20 Hiro and Ando go into a future New York after the "bomb" went off and discover the cause.

I love this show myself. I want to wait before I make theories so I get more of a feel for it and everyone not accounted for show up.

Oh, and the others are cool, too. I was able to connect in some way with most of the characters during the first season on a personal level, from Nathan to Micah, and especially Hiro and Peter. All of the characters are really amazing, and it is one of the most amazing looking (if not the most amazing looking) shows I've ever seen on a network.

Spoiler: Stuff about Kensei and stuff

I thought it was a neat twist that Kensei was British, but tbh I think he has powers of his own based on the spoilers for next weeks episode. Either that, or Hiro trains/helps Kensei.

May I suggest that the moderators edit the topic to say Warning: Spoilers or something similar? I mean a topic about a show like this is certainly going to fill up with them and it might be a hassle for every single post to be "spoiler"ized. And we all know it will eventually get to that point. Haha.

Anyway this is probably my favorite show on television.

The season premiere was a little bit disappointing but still really nice. Lots of questions were raised, although I'm not necessarily a fan of the direction of the storylines. Claire and Mr. Bennet are really great, although I'm not so sure of this new kid. His comic was pretty interesting though I didn't like the way he was portrayed onscreen. Hopefully in later episodes he'll be written more like the comic version of himself.

The Peter/Nathan storyline annoys me- part of me was hoping that they would both be dead. Matt Parkman looks like he is going to have more of a role, which I like, as he is one of my favorite characters.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Haha, that's strange. Most people think Hayden is a lot cuter. Plus Nikki's storyline is a lot less interesting than the other characters.

YES, Claire's love interest is way emo. I liked the way he looked in the comic, looked rather normal. But the actual guy in the show has badly dyed hair with serious bangs. All he's missing is the glasses. And seriously, robots v. aliens? He must totally be a robot to not be able to think up a metaphor better than that. :'P. Also, another flying character? :'(

I was a little disappointed Nathan's still alive -- I loved his character but I liked him better thinking he was a tragic chara. Then when he saw himself in the mirror as an f'ed up Peter I was all, "THAT'S PETER IN DISGUISE!" and IMO I woulda liked that better than finding out he was fine but had amnesia somewhere. That reeks a little of soap opera. But I'll forgive them, I'm sure they'll turn it around.

Oh, and Parkman left his pregnant wife, WTF? He just didn't seem like the sort of guy to walk out on his preg-o wife. They'd made up, and seemed okay as a couple again last we saw them together in season 1. That actress probably just didn't want to do another season, but him just saying, "we got a divorce" and dropping it felt too much like a last-minute cop-out.

I know exactly what you mean. Although it seemed more like SHE left him, which I base pretty much solely on his personality- I mean he's the kind of guy who wanted to get back with her even after she cheated on him. It's also realistic to think that if he DID leave her, he was thinking of the child's best interests. Rather than abandoning his new son, he's a cop with superpowers and he knows that that sort of thing could seriously endanger him and his family.

Crap I loved Heroes to death but here in Australia we haven't got the second season yet. Next week I think. So from now on I'm going to avoid this thread like the plague. I despsie being spoiled. So, please, keep it all it tags please.
