Hornets in the Underground Jungle now shoot stingers. These stingers have a 1 in 3 chance of poisoning their target for 10 seconds.

Lava Slimes no longer spawn lava when killed.

NPC’s furniture requirements have changed to work with new items.NPCs now requires one "comfort object" (Chair, Throne, Bench, Bed, Toilet) and one "flat surface furniture" (Table, Dresser, Workbench, Tub, Bookcase) for a room to be complete before they will make it their home.

The Mini-shark now has a 33% chance that shooting the weapon will not take ammo. So it does not consume as much ammo to use.

There is now a Trash Can slot in the inventory. Placing an item here will destroy it. However the item will be saved in memory until another item is destroyed, allowing you to retrieve it if you wish. Holding Shift and Clicking and Item will move it to your trashcan.

When at a chest or piggy bank, there is now an option to loot all. This will take all items inside the chest/bank if there is room, If not it will take all items starting from top left. There is also a Quick Stack option for the reverse effect. If the chest you are viewing has items stored in it that you are also carrying, this option will stack those items into the chest combining stored and carried stacks.

● When at a chest or piggy bank, there is now an option to Deposit all. This will take all items not in your hot bars and starting from the bottom right slot, place each item that will fit into the chest or bank. It will stop when space runs out.

AWESOME

There is now a toggle in your inventory, that when clicked, will LOCK your hot-bar and not allow you to change your currently used hot-bar item by clicking it with the mouse, only the 1 - 9 hot -keys and mouse-wheel will scroll them at that point.

There is now an option for ‘Male/Female’, this is used to change the characters voice. This way, any hairstyle can be used for either gender.

There are now 3 difficulty modes that are set when creating a character.
○ Softcore - Drop coins on death, keep max hp and mana values.
○ Mediumcore - Drop all items on death, keep max hp and mana values.
○ Hardcore - Drops all Items and deletes your character on death, requiring you to start a new character. On death you will become a ghost that can not interact with the world until you log out.

Okay! She's rebooted and up to date :D

You're not going to see any changes to the world (e.g., differences in how hell is laid out/mud walls in the jungle/new chests scattered about) mentioned in the update announcement -- they only take place on a fresh world.

But the gameplay will be updated and the new craftable items will be craftable, etc.

I already fixed my tree. There wasn't too much damage. Pretty asshole move, though.

I fixed it regardless. Server is back up.

Most of the damage was Peri's tree and to the little castles under her tree. Looked like someone decided to detonate a stick of dynamite and some bombs around. I fixed all of them, but if there were chests there, with items in them, I'm afraid the items may have been lost.

If you REEAAAALLY needed anything that was in those chests, let me know, and I will procure the stuff for you.

I searched through the logs and I only saw Spooky, a dupe Spooky, "Deoxin", and Peri log in as of the past day ... So I'm still not 100% sure who did it, but if it was you MF, then fuck you, and I am switching to a password system.

I will PM all of you regular players passwords. Sorry that some asshole decided to try to ruin shit

Eh, not really the thing that's keeping me interested. Me and my friends, when we have like 2 hours of nothing to do, sometimes open it up, one guy hacks all the coolest equipment, and we do stupid things like making a hellavator. We're too lazy to spend time building :P

The latest of the teaser threads, and a release date they are hoping to make. (December 1st)
I'm especially excited about the wires which will probably allow us to make traps and other awesome constructions!

~ So, what I can gather from the upcoming 1.1 patch:

- New Hell boss, Wall of Flesh, along with harder versions of Eye of Cthulhu, EoW, and Skeletron
- "Deep Corruption," seemingly corrupted caverns that look to be extraordinarily dangerous
- Several graphical upgrades; colored lighting, smooth lighting, updated background, etc.
- Several new biome-specific enemies (looks like mummies, dragons, etc.)
- A ton of new items, mostly weapons, but I've spotted several new armor sets, too.
- Traps. Seemingly in the dungeon, mostly.
- Redstone-esque wiring system, looks to be powered by bunnies, of all things. Several possibilities here; one dev made a skeet-shoot minigame with it.
- New options for default clothing; female clothing was showcased
- THANK GOD NPC Housing Management, so now we don't have to murder the guide to get him out
- Upgraded/Downgraded Equipment; this might mean a new NPC, but that's just speculation on my part
- A lot of cosmetic stuff to decorate with. Mostly statues, but who knows what else
- A "hard mode" of sorts. After killing the Wall of Flesh, the game supposedly skyrockets in difficulty overall
- Corruption will only appear after killing the Eye of Cthulhu, and will spread if left unchecked
- Finally, there's a limited boxed edition of Terraria coming up, with a lot of unique goodies

In other words, I. CAN'T. WAIT.

We dusting off the server for this or no?
