cool.. i can see why they didn't add the stickers to standard multiplayer brawls. it would have added a whole lot of unwanted personalization. its cool for the 1p mode tho.

Giygas would be cool. Your goal might just be to survive long enough for another character to send out cries for help; he'd still have a functioning % damage meter, but just like in Earthbound the damage he sustains will have no effect on him past maybe the first stage.

Of course, I find Pokey much more likely. His younger self is likely an Assist Trophy, but his aged counterpart... Well, there's been an announcement somewhere that Pokey will be mayor of New Pork City, and at some point his name will be Porky instead(?)

I'm not entirely sure what all that's supposed to mean, but the billboards and stuff in New Pork do say "Pokey." Apparently the leak was in Japanese, though, so the language barrier makes it harder to make sense of.

I just noticed how delightfully incomprehensible that statement was. Go, me!

iafter taking a closer look at the newest screens for the sticker powerups.. it's pretty obvious that this game will be designed to work with the gamecube controller. go hal! =D

Yeah it was mentioned a number of months back. It has 4 play styles... remember? I'm very interested in trying the Wiimote/Nunchuk control style, it could be interesting.

Does anyone read 'Smash It Up!' on IGN?

There's so much stuff being crammed into this game it's just amazing. Can you imagine the first day playing it? I have dreams about it. Many, many dreams.

Don't know if it's been discussed already, but which mode are you going to play first? Me: I'm jumping straight into the good ol' VS mode, with my brother and sister (heck, Mom, you can play too!).

The mode I'll play first will depend on the circumstances. If I have all my friends with me at the time, basking in the case's glory, I'll do Vs. If not, I'll do Adventure with Link... You' probably unlock a character beating it first time anyways (God please not Jigglypuff). I'm interested.

Either way, it'll be awesome!

Personally I'm going to drag some people with me to get the copy out of it's plastic, so they don't get to make theories about me practicing for hours before challenging them. Maybe check out the 1-player (read 2-player since I'm assuming my bro will likely join in) after dinner (assuming my eyes haven't been bloody killed by the vs. mode yet) , we'll see we'll see.

That's not Ness, that's Pokemon Trainer.

Anyways, Lucario is...interesting. Though it's nice that they're using one of the newer pokemon that're actually sorta cool. Also, Jigglypuff was a given. He's been a staple in the SSB series since the beginning.

TBH I'd love having Lucario kick Mewto out. Really, IMO even Bowser and Pichu totally own him, the only thing he does well is throwing and, well, if you work together with someone you can make someone gain 999% dmg without that person having a chance to do anything against it (let the other grab the opponent, charge your regular B so it hits the grabbed person, and wait).

But Lucario's moveset riddles me a bit, I mean, he can use aura sphere as a shadow ball replacement, but disable/confusion/teleport are harder to cope with, so I do hope that his is totally different (and the fighting type gives plenty of option for that). Still should be kinda obvious he's different, I mean, traction?

I assume he will be very different. One is a psychic pokemon, and the other is fighting.

In case you guys haven't noticed, Ness, Pichu, Jigglypuff, and Lucario are in the game.

When you use the sticker thing for the SubSpace Emissary it shows you who can use this sticker.

Someone already posted that a while back, and it's been tenatively confirmed that the dude in the red cap is the Pokemon Trainer. It makes sense, since Ness doesn't have white ornamentation on his cap and his hair doesn't stick out like that.

At least Kumatora and Claus get stickers. Seeing Sonic's sticker there next to theirs gives me good vibes.

No Ness in the video either. Personally, I'm fine without Ness. Yano why?

Claus, Kumatora, and Duster kick his psychic ass from here to Dalaam!

EDIT: Oh, damn. Wait until the Claus sticker is highlighted. There's Ness' icon.

Pretty much dashes my hopes of a Claus, too. ._.

Why the hell would the P-trainer get a +PSI attack bonus? O.o It's probably the p-trainer in the second screenshot, not the first.
