I don't often come to this forum... looks like I'm missing out. :D

I love how this game is coming together so far. I must admit I smiled with glee when I saw that Sonic had been confirmed. I almost cried when Diddy Kong made it! OMG I love Diddy!

As long as Nintendo does something about online, then I can definitely see this game being another Halo 3... though maybe not THAT popular...

Nah, this game will probably be even more popular than Halo. Halo gets old. SSB doesn't seem to have that.

All I can say is this about DeDeDe

CALLED IT. Seriously, I knew he'd make it around the time that I unlocked all the characters in Melee. Also, he looks like he'll control great, which is very nice.

Halo usually gets alot more popular during launch time, but when it comes to lasting popularity, you can't stop SSB. Hell, SSBM is still selling at full price.

Anyway, I can't wait for them to introduce C. Falcon. He's pretty much garunteed, being Sakurai's favourite character in SSB64 and SSBM, but I want him confirmed so badly...

Awww, I wanted to be the first one to post about its epicness.

I just hope there are lots of options.

And hey, with this, all those "pro" players will be able to make like the most perfect, but probably most boring, stages

I'll quote IRC, cause I'm awesome.

"February 2008 News"
- "Yes Dianne, word is that a new game 'Super Smash Brothers Brawl', has already killed it's first player. Jack, in early 20s, wouldn't eat or drink for weeks on end due to this 'apocolyptic' addictive game."

>Due to the Stage builder add-on.

"You can create your own stages this time?! No way. REALLY?! "

Oh hell, you all beat me to it. But yeah, that's it. It's over. Brawl has won over the gaming industry...and my life. :|

20/10

So so true. Education is on hold until brawl is 100%ed and someone recreates greenhill zone or stage 1-1 mario bros in the level designer and get every wii code in the world and brawl code from the brawlers and beat them all with kirbys and complete the smith challenge, a challenge thought to be impossible on melee and will return in brawl for sure!

Um... no... just no. Don't talk about what you don't understand.

FYI, POKEFLOATS is legal. There are 17 legal stages in SSBM(15 for team matches). So stop that 'FD only' idea, because it's wrong, and makes you look stupid.

I hate people who consider themselves bigtime Smash Brothers players. I have some friends who go to national tournaments and stuff and it is annoying as fuck.

Whatever happened to playing games for gun?

National tournaments? That has nerd written all over it.

I'm really good...but I would never do that, lol.

First of all, I'm not a big time smasher. I just play by competative rules.

Second of all, who said that it's not fun? I perfer competative rules simply because I do find them more fun. A more balanced game means people's skill shows through more, and that means that when both players are at a high skill level, the gameplay can get really intense. That's alot more fun, in my opinion, then waiting for a pokeball or hammer to appear. So stop with this 'competative players don't play for fun' bullshit. It's simply not true.

I hope they put in Geno from Super Mario RPG. If they don't I'm gonna be so pissed off. He was like my favorite character ever.

Also I don't mean to brag but on Very hard mode, classic mode, I kick ASS! =D
